TODAY’S TOPIC: God has drowned my enemies 

Text: Exodus 15:1-10 (NIV):

"15:1. Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song to the LORD: "I will sing to the LORD, for he is highly exalted. The horse and its rider he has hurled into the sea.

15:2. The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God, and I will exalt him.

15:3. The LORD is a warrior; the LORD is his name.

15:4. Pharaoh's chariots and his army he has hurled into the sea. The best of Pharaoh's officers are drowned in the Red Sea.

15:5. The deep waters have covered them; they sank to the depths like a stone.

15:6. "Your right hand, O LORD, was majestic in power. Your right hand, O LORD, shattered the enemy.

15:7. In the greatness of your majesty you threw down those who opposed you. You unleashed your burning anger; it consumed them like stubble.

15:8. By the blast of your nostrils the waters piled up. The surging waters stood firm like a wall; the deep waters congealed in the heart of the sea.

15:9. The enemy boasted, 'I will pursue, I will overtake them. I will divide the spoils; I will gorge myself on them. I will draw my sword and my hand will destroy them.'

15:10. But you blew with your breath, and the sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters."

SHOWER (Reflection):

When your hope seemed to have lost, when  you think there are no more solutions to your life expectations...just be calm, do not despair. God does not forget. God has not forgot. He will surely and swiftly attend to your needs. Moses sang this song we read in today's lesson. It was when God drowned the enemies of the Israelites. The Egyptians were too sure of getting them back and kept on pursuing them (Israelites). This could be because they knew there are red sea that will prevent Israelites from leaving their land. But God heard the prayers of Moses and divided the sea for them to cross over. These were people who were murmuring, thinking their hope had lost. Egyptians were too proud, arrogant and so much believed that there was no God that could save the Israelites this time. That was why they had to join the Israelites on the divided sea and God who felt insulted by their actions, swept into action by allowing them to be drowned in the red Sea. Be careful, have faith, and God will give you power to overcome your challenges in Jesus name, Amen.

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, my father, roll away every stumbling block the enemy put on my way to excellence in Jesus name, Amen.

2. By the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, I shall march on to my promised land unperturbed, in Jesus name, Amen.

3. O God arise, remove any curse laid on me or my children so that we must excel in Jesus name, Amen.

4. By the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, this weekend shall be my last weekend with empty pocket in Jesus name Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Glory be to God 

Text: Psalm 100:1-5 (NIV):

"100:1. Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.

100:2. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.

100:3. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

100:4. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.

100:5. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations."

SHOWER (Reflection):

Glory be God for another blessed day. We have been reading about His death and resurrection power for a week now. Today, we are reminded to shout Hallelujah. He is a our God. There are those who started the event with us but no more alive today. But we are still alive. That alone is God's blessing we cannot forget. Even if your sick now, praise Him and your healing will be completely restored. 

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, thanks for giving me testimony today. I hold unto Your blessings to testify more... In Jesus name, Amen.

2. By the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, I command every household enemies to somersault and die in Jesus name, Amen.

3. Agenda of the wicked over my life this weekend, be frustrated by the power in the blood of Jesus Christ... Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Preach the gospel to all the nation

Text: Mark 16:11-20 (NIV):

16:11. When they heard that Jesus was alive and that she had seen him, they did not believe it.

16:12. Afterward Jesus appeared in a different form to two of them while they were walking in the country.

16:13. These returned and reported it to the rest; but they did not believe them either.

16:14. Later Jesus appeared to the Eleven as they were eating; he rebuked them for their lack of faith and their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him after he had risen.

16:15. He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.

16:16. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

16:17. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;

16:18. they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well."

16:19. After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God.

16:20. Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it.

SHOWER (Reflection):

When Jesus Christ finished His earthly work, He charged the disciples to follow by preaching to the universe. And they went and miracle  followed them. Therefore, today's reading is charging us to go on to preach the gospel of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Fear not for God is with you. His miracle will follow you. All your challenges and sickness have come to an end today too in Jesus name, Amen. As you work in God's vineyard, He will work in yours. As you share the testimony of His ressurection power, the benefits attached will follow you too.

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, my father, whatever they will stop me from testifying or preaching Your gospel, please scatter and kill them... In Jesus name, Amen.

2. By the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, every spiritual, physical or financial crisis eating me up, I command you to somersault and die, Amen.

3. Every negative spirit and power working in me or around me in other to way me down, i command you ..in Jesus name, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Put on your new self

Text: Colossians 3:1-10 (NIV):

"3:1. Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.

3:2. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.

3:3. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.

3:4. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

3:5. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.

3:6. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.

3:7. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived.

3:8. But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.

3:9. Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices

3:10. and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator."

SHOWER (Reflection):

Yesterday we commemorated the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Today is Easter Monday when He appeared to Mary and other disciples. He appeared to reveal Himself to them, to reassures and remind us that He has risen and shouldn't be sought among the dead. Today, we are reading about the significance of His resurrection. It entails that we are now new creatures with marks and lives of Jesus Christ. Therefore, we must put away things of the world such as lust of the flesh, stealing, greed, untrust, immorality, hatred, etc. Because He lives, we must live to glorify His name. Hallelujah!!!

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. By the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, I crucify my body today as i take up a new life in Christ Jesus, Amen.

2. Ọ God arise and level every stumbling block to my greatness, shield and perfect your plans in my life...in Jesus name, Amen.

3. As I walk in the way of Christ Jesus today, neither me nor my family will ever suffer wants again...in Jesus name, Amen.

Christ has risen

TODAY’S TOPIC: Christ Has risen  

Text: John 20:1-10 (NIV):

"20:1. Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance.

20:2. So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and said, "They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don't know where they have put him!"

20:3. So Peter and the other disciple started for the tomb.

20:4. Both were running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first.

20:5. He bent over and looked in at the strips of linen lying there but did not go in.

20:6. Then Simon Peter, who was behind him, arrived and went into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there,

20:7. as well as the burial cloth that had been around Jesus' head. The cloth was folded up by itself, separate from the linen.

20:8. Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed.

20:9. (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.)

20:10. Then the disciples went back to their homes,"

SHOWER (Reflection):

Brethren, welcome to a new great! Happy Easter!!! Today is a great day to reflect on the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ after the death on earth. He was in the grave for three days to pay for our sins. He rose on the third day with our good health, laughter, prosperity, goodness, power over life and death, dominion, etc. Let's stand by Him by doing according to His will for us. Because He has risen, we should fear not over what the world can do but over what Himself can and should do. Praise the might Jesus...amen.

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, my father, may the risen of Your son Jesus Christ from the dead, bring me fortunes and resurrections from all my problems, worries and backwardness ...in Jesus name, Amen.

2. O my victorious God, I key into Your victory over death today to be victorious now and forever  ...in Jesus name, Amen.

3. I am an overcomer! I am a winner! My God has destined me for success. Success will be mine from now on...in Jesus name, Amen.
