TODAY’S TOPIC: Repentance for the Church of God

Text: Jeremiah 7:12-15 (NIV): 

"7:12.  Go now to the place in Shiloh where I first made a dwelling for my Name, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness of my people Israel.

7:13. While you were doing all these things, declares the LORD, I spoke to you again and again, but you did not listen; I called you, but you did not answer.

7:14. Therefore, what I did to Shiloh I will now do to the house that bears my Name, the temple you trust in, the place I gave to you and your fathers.

7:15. I will thrust you from my presence, just as I did all your brothers, the people of Ephraim.'

7:16. "So do not pray for this people nor offer any plea or petition for them; do not plead with me, for I will not listen to you."

SHOWER (Reflection):

What do you do when someone whom you loved so much appears to be the one hurting you? That is the scenario that our God should be now due to our houses of iniquity. We that are called by His name misbehaves. That is why the physical church is not spared. It is now the house of envy, music, prostitution, war, competition, money grabbing and so on. People who supposed to make it a house of God are doing something else to satisfy selves. His anger has been rekindled. Hence, He tells Jeremiah in verse 16 not to beg Him for forgiveness on their behalf again. We must look inward to see any area in our mind where we are not doing well and repent before it is too late. It could be why it seemed we are not getting answers to our prayers. 

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, I have acknowledged that am a worst sinner. Please forgive me and direct my path again in Jesus name, Amen.

2. Anything in me, around me, from my household or from my father's and my mother's foundation that is making my matter worst and unforgivable before God, I cancel and denounce them by fire in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. 

3. I am in Christ Jesus. Christ is in me. Therefore, all that is destined for me must locate me before the end of today in Jesus name  name, Amen!!!

TODAY’S TOPIC: Equality by His Grace

Text: Ephesians 3:4-13(NIV): 

"3:4. In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ,

3:5. which was not made known to men in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God's holy apostles and prophets.

3:6. This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus.

3:7. I became a servant of this gospel by the gift of God's grace given me through the working of his power.

3:8. Although I am less than the least of all God's people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,

3:9 and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things.

3:10 His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms,

3:11 according to his eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.

3:12 In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.

3:13 I ask you, therefore, not to be discouraged because of my sufferings for you, which are your glory.

SHOWER (Reflection):

Children of God have been internalized or brought together into one shield by the power of grace. Grace levels everything and makes all equal before Christ. By it, there is nothing like this is a leader, follower or slave and should be treated as such before Christ. All are equal before God. Our God is impartial and lovely. He wants all to treat others same way He treats us. We must hearken to that to be saved. 

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, I understand You are not partial. Having admitted me in Your kingdom by grace, help me to bring more obedient souls to you in Christ Jesus, Amen.

2. I resist, I renounce and reject any spirit, principality or power from anywhere that is delaying manifestations of God's glory in my life. In Jesus name, Amen. 

3. O God, my father, I believe strongly that today is my day. Therefore, come by Your mercy and power to uplift me in Jesus name, Amen!!!

TODAY’S TOPIC: Beware else you fail

Text: Luke 22: 33-38(NIV): 

"22:33.  But he replied, "Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death."

22:34. Jesus answered, "I tell you, Peter, before the rooster crows today, you will deny three times that you know me."

22:35. Then Jesus asked them, "When I sent you without purse, bag or sandals, did you lack anything?" "Nothing," they answered.

22:36. He said to them, "But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.

22:37. It is written: 'And he was numbered with the transgressors'; and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment."

22:38. The disciples said, "See, Lord, here are two swords." "That is enough," he replied."

SHOWER (Reflection):

Try to be careful in life. When you think you have overcame temptation is surely when it may come in abundance. It is now left for you to know who to serve or worship or not. Joshua said himself and his household. Peter disclosed his desire to follow Jesus to the end. But he was reminded by Jesus that He foresaw him felled to temptations. If you read down you will see how it came to pass, and how Peter overcame it. But Judas failed his own. So, get ready to know Him now. And you will succeed.

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, open my ears that I can listen, my eyes to see and legs to walk the talk in Christ Jesus, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Listen to the Lord and be saved

Text: Jeremiah 6:17-21 (NIV): 

"6:17. I appointed watchmen over you and said, 'Listen to the sound of the trumpet!' But you said, 'We will not listen.'

6:18.  Therefore hear, O nations; observe, O witnesses, what will happen to them.

6:19. Hear, O earth: I am bringing disaster on this people, the fruit of their schemes, because they have not listened to my words and have rejected my law.

6:20. What do I care about incense from Sheba or sweet calamus from a distant land? Your burnt offerings are not acceptable; your sacrifices do not please me."

6:21. Therefore this is what the LORD says: "I will put obstacles before this people. Fathers and sons alike will stumble over them; neighbors and friends will perish."

SHOWER (Reflection):

Listen to the Lord and be saved. There are messages everywhere. The gospel is moving towards various directions. But some still turned their ears off (deaf and dumps). When you refused to hearken to the voice as it happened at the time of Noah, you will be affected deeply later. So, listen and be born again now. God is coming.

TODAY’S TOPIC: The Joy of faithfulness

Text: Ephesians 1:15-23 (NIV): 

"1:15. For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,

1:16. I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.

1:17. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.

1:18. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,

1:19. and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength,

1:20. which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms,

1:21. far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.

1:22. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church,

1:23. which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way."

SHOWER (Reflection):

There is joy in Christ Jesus. When you see where faith is working, you will also rejoice. Paul was happy here that the brethren (Ephesians) were growing in faith as depicted by their behaviour, miracles and conviviality noticed among them. He therefore wrote to commend and charge them on how to sustain the tempo. You that is leading the church, a group, ministry or unit, how are laying good examples? Are you the type that is killed by jealousy, envy or pride? How do you feel when you notice the progress or otherwise, downfall of others? You must have a rethink and move on today before is too late. God demands we love and cherish all. We are His mentes and should mentor others. 

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, help me to become a good ambassador of Your kingdom. Empower me that I can empower or mentor others spiritually and otherwise in Jesus name, Amen. 

2. I have received the power from above to mentor people and rejoice when others are rejoicing, and mourn or correct those required to be mourned with or corrected. I hereby overcome every spirit of envy and pride in Jesus name, Amen. 

3. I shall continue to go higher and higher in life. Jesus has conquered and pushed away whatever power that can mar my progress, Amen!!!

TODAY’S TOPIC: The last warning 

Text: Jeremiah 6: 1-10 (NIV): 

"6:1.  Flee for safety, people of Benjamin! Flee from Jerusalem! Sound the trumpet in Tekoa! Raise the signal over Beth Hakkerem! For disaster looms out of the north, even terrible destruction.

6:2.  I will destroy the Daughter of Zion, so beautiful and delicate.

6:3.  Shepherds with their flocks will come against her; they will pitch their tents around her, each tending his own portion."

6:4.  "Prepare for battle against her! Arise, let us attack at noon! But, alas, the daylight is fading, and the shadows of evening grow long.

6:5.  So arise, let us attack at night and destroy her fortresses!"

6:6.  This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Cut down the trees and build siege ramps against Jerusalem. This city must be punished; it is filled with oppression.

6:7.  As a well pours out its water, so she pours out her wickedness. Violence and destruction resound in her; her sickness and wounds are ever before me.

6:8.  Take warning, O Jerusalem, or I will turn away from you and make your land desolate so no one can live in it."

6:9.  This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Let them glean the remnant of Israel as thoroughly as a vine; pass your hand over the branches again, like one gathering grapes."

6:10.  To whom can I speak and give warning? Who will listen to me? Their ears are closed so they cannot hear. The word of the LORD is offensive to them; they find no pleasure in it."

SHOWER (Reflection):

God due to His infinite love and mercy, often warn His beloved of impeding dooms. The warnings could come from mouths of the prophets, the book of the law, happening around us or dreams. It's left for you to listen and be saved. In today's scripture, He warned the Jerusalem, the Benjamites to repent and flee from atrocities due to intending dangers ahead. If you read down you will discover that some will not hearken to the advice as it happened during the time Noah and Sodom and Gomorrah eras. We have a lot of evil happenings around us. However, many have refused to listen; probably due to their sudden gains from the system. But what would you gain from the whole world if you loose paradise? Let have a rethink before it is too late...

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, help me to know when You are warning me. Give the grace to flee and overcome the impending dangers in Jesus name, Amen. 

2. I trust in God. Therefore, every impending dangers and storms before me shall melt by mentioning my name because my hope and faith are in the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen. 

3. I am a conqueror. I am a winner. I must march forward this month whether my enemies like it or not. No weapon fashioned against me shall ever prosper in Jesus name, Amen!!!

TODAY’S TOPIC: Godliness not means for financial gain

Text: 1 Timothy 6: 3-10 (NIV): 

"6:3.  If anyone teaches false doctrines and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching,

6:4. he is conceited and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions

6:5. and constant friction between men of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain.

6:6. But godliness with contentment is great gain.

6:7. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it.

6:8. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.

6:9. People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction.

6:10. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs."

SHOWER (Reflection):

This topic is necessary now people have turned righteousness to a personal gain. Salvation is now seen as a means to an end or vehicle to becoming rich. Hence, they doubt or see Christian or born again who still suffer as fake. Disheartening! They have forgot that Job was suffered because of his righteousness. Verse 6 tells us that godliness with contentment is great gain. That is, Godliness should make one to be contented with what they have or how they were created by God. That is sure way, according to the scripture. It goes further to remind us that love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. It did not say that people who shouldn't genuinely make money. What it only wants us to do is to refrain from committing atrocities in a quest to make money.

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, help me to genuinely follow You, work and prosper in your kingdom work without blemish in Jesus name, Amen. 

2. The spirit that wants me to fall is hereby defeated in the blood of the lamb. All I need to survive and march on have been bestowed on me by the Lord Jesus, Amen. 

3. I am a conqueror. I am a winner. I must march forward this month whether my enemies like it or not. No weapon fashioned against me shall ever prosper in Jesus name, Amen!!!
