TODAY’S TOPIC: God reigns 

Text: Daniel 7:9-14 (NIV):

"7:9.  As I looked, "thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. His clothing was as white as snow; the hair of his head was white like wool. His throne was flaming with fire, and its wheels were all ablaze.

7:10.  A river of fire was flowing, coming out from before him. Thousands upon thousands attended him; ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him. The court was seated, and the books were opened.

7:11.  "Then I continued to watch because of the boastful words the horn was speaking. I kept looking until the beast was slain and its body destroyed and thrown into the blazing fire.

7:12.  (The other beasts had been stripped of their authority, but were allowed to live for a period of time.)

7:13.  "In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence.

7:14.  He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all peoples, nations and men of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed."

 

*SHOWER:*

God reigns. His supremacy is good. Whoever He decides to crown, nothing can stop such person. Not even the powers from your father's house, friends or family members. But when you misbehaves with such an opportunity, you may end loosing it forever. So, if you're trusting God for children, works or other things, remain steadfast, firm, persevere and loosing no faith. One day, He will crown your efforts. But you must be ready not to abuse it!

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

God, in You, I submit myself. Crown me and help me to remain stronger and go higher in life in Jesus name, Amen.

*1. O Jesus, help me to be humble and tolerant as Your servant. 

*2. As long as You live , O God, those who have made themselves enemies onto me shall die in Jesus name, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Fruits of perseverance

Text: James 1:2-12 (NIV):

"1.2. Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds,1:3. because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.

1:4. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

1:5. If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.

1:6. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.

1:7. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord;

1:8. he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.

1:9. The brother in humble circumstances ought to take pride in his high position.

1:10. But the one who is rich should take pride in his low position, because he will pass away like a wild flower.

1:11. For the sun rises with scorching heat and withers the plant; its blossom falls and its beauty is destroyed. In the same way, the rich man will fade away even while he goes about his business.

1:12. Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.

 

*SHOWER:*

Perseverance is a virtue. Everyone must pray for it. The world we live in is full of temptations and trials. But the more you stand your ground, the more you shall triumph. The benefits include; it will make you master of all things, overcomer, expose you to more skills and talents, empower you to alone or with teams, build friendship/ give you connections and contacts to the world, etc. 

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

God, I honour Your word. Kindly make me to understand and follow Your footpath of justice and grace, in Jesus name, Amen.

*1. O Jesus, give me spirit of perseverance so that I will be consistent and winner at the end. 

*2. O God I stand before Your throne to assure You of my readiness and desires to remain focus to Your direction. Help me to triumph in Jesus name, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Hearken to the Voice

Text: Revelation: 1:9-13 (NIV):

"1:9.  I, John, your brother and companion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in Jesus, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.

1:10.   On the Lord's Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet,

1:11.   which said: "Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea."

1:12.   I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands,

1:13.   and among the lampstands was someone "like a son of man," dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest.

 

*SHOWER:*

We, in Christ, must learn to commune with Him. When He directs you through a dream or vision to do one thing or another, never hesitate to do that. Because that message was or is for a purpose. Not adhering to such a message could be disastrous. Consider the seven stars and the Church. 

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

God, I honour Your word. Kindly make me to understand and follow Your footpath of justice and grace, in Jesus name, Amen.

*1. O Jesus, I will never underrate Your power and revelations. Build and empower me with Your word that I may become greater and positioned to win more souls for You.

 _ O God, I pray You to make my way bright and shining as I move about for my daily bread in Jesus name, Amen_ 

TODAY’S TOPIC: One family in Christ Jesus 

Text: Luke 8:19-25 (NIV):

"8:19.  Now Jesus' mother and brothers came to see him, but they were not able to get near him because of the crowd.

8:20.  Someone told him, "Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to see you."

8:21.   He replied, "My mother and brothers are those who hear God's word and put it into practice."

8:22.  One day Jesus said to his disciples, "Let's go over to the other side of the lake." So they got into a boat and set out.

8:23.  As they sailed, he fell asleep. A squall came down on the lake, so that the boat was being swamped, and they were in great danger.

8:24.  The disciples went and woke him, saying, "Master, Master, we're going to drown!" He got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided, and all was calm.

8:25.  "Where is your faith?" he asked his disciples. In fear and amazement they asked one another, "Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him." 

*SHOWER:*

Jesus saw all of us who worship Him in truth and honesty as His children, family members and relatives. He does not discriminate against anyone. Again, He manifested His power over the animate and inanimate when he calmed the wind by 'mere' rebuking it. Since we know His power, we must not relent in been closer to Him always. He will calm down all situations in our life, change us for good and restore our dignity.

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

God, I honour Your word. Kindly make me to understand and follow Your way; now and forever in Jesus name, Amen.

*1. The God I serve is the Lord that calms storms. I know He has calmed all my problems, tribulations and set me free to progress and prosper.

*2. The God I serve sees and recognises those in His vineyard as true sons and daughters, fathers and mothers, brothers and sisters. Therefore, whenever I come into the House of God, I will not lack brethren that will help me grow physically, spiritually and emotionally in Jesus name, Amen.

*3. I hereby decree and declare that God will manifest His powers in my life. All I asked for will surely start manifesting today in Jesus, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: The Most High do not live in the houses

Text: Acts 7:44-53 (NIV):

"7:44.  Our forefathers had the tabernacle of the Testimony with them in the desert. It had been made as God directed Moses, according to the pattern he had seen.

7:45.  Having received the tabernacle, our fathers under Joshua brought it with them when they took the land from the nations God drove out before them. It remained in the land until the time of David,

7:46.  who enjoyed God's favor and asked that he might provide a dwelling place for the God of Jacob.

7:47.  But it was Solomon who built the house for him.

7:48.   "However, the Most High does not live in houses made by men. As the prophet says:

7:49.   "'Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. What kind of house will you build for me? says the Lord. Or where will my resting place be?

7:50.   Has not my hand made all these things?'

7:51.   "You stiff-necked people, with uncircumcised hearts and ears! You are just like your fathers: You always resist the Holy Spirit!

7:52.  Was there ever a prophet your fathers did not persecute? They even killed those who predicted the coming of the Righteous One. And now you have betrayed and murdered him--

7:53.  you who have received the law that was put into effect through angels but have not obeyed it."

*SHOWER:*

Our God is powerful. When Stephen was summoned with different allegations, he was expected to start telling them sorry, explain whether he spoke evil of their mansions or not, and probably denounce Christ immediately. Unfortunately, he stood his ground and start preaching to them. He reminded them that earth and everything in it belonged to God. He angered them more. A lot of people have compromised their faith, chickened out when they ought to speak up. Why? Because of mere resources they meet on earth and also leave here to go.  

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

God, I thank You for Your words that gives life. I pray for them to enrich and empower me in Jesus name, Amen.

*1. My God, I know You won't disappoint me. Therefore, I give You all I have with an expectation to gain all You have for me. 

*2. The God is my Lord. I will no longer lack physical and spiritual things He destined for me in Jesus name, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Do not be led astray 

Text: 1 John 3:1- 7 (NIV):

"3:1. How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

3:2. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

3:3. Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.

3:4. Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.

3:5. But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin.

3:6. No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.

3:7. Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous."

*SHOWER:*

The bible says that many are called but few are chosen. You must make sure to be among the chosen. Do not let people lead you astray. If you believe you have seen, you must run away from sin. Love Jesus as He has loved.

God, I thank You for Your words that have enriched me today. Let it bear fruits in me in esus name, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: The divine courage 

Text: Luke 10:17-24 (NIV):

"2:22.   Men of Israel, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know.

2:23.   This man was handed over to you by God's set purpose and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross.

2:24.   But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.

2:25.   David said about him: "'I saw the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

2:26.   Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will live in hope,

2:27.   because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay.

2:28.   You have made known to me the paths of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence.'

2:29.    "Brothers, I can tell you confidently that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is here to this day.

2:30.   But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that he would place one of his descendants on his throne.

2:31.  Seeing what was ahead, he spoke of the resurrection of the Christ, that he was not abandoned to the grave, nor did his body see decay.

2:32.  God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of the fact."

*SHOWER:*

The courage from above is different from the one from the world. Peter became more courageous to preach the word after the gift of Holy Spirit. Everyone who is in need of an excess power to preach the gospel should ask and it shall be given unto him. 

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

God, I thank You for Your words that have enriched me today. Let it bear fruits in me in esus name, Amen.

*1. O God, in You I entrust my needs and aspirations. I pray for Your help to continue to grow from grace to grace in Jesus name, Amen. 

*2. The God, Almighty has empowered me to do exploit. I shall go out and conquer and come back to testify of His goodness in Jesus name, Amen.
