My month of Restoration

Prayer before the Word: 

 _ O God, my King, my Your name be highly glorified for the gift of life. Forgive my trespasses. Please, show me Your way, and assist me to follow it to the end in Jesus name, Amen_ 

TODAY’S TOPIC: Your month of Restoration 

Text: Hosea 2: 14-23 (NIV):

"2:14. "Therefore I am now going to allure her; I will lead her into the desert and speak tenderly to her.

2:15. There I will give her back her vineyards, and will make the Valley of Achor a door of hope. There she will sing as in the days of her youth, as in the day she came up out of Egypt.

2:16. "In that day," declares the LORD, "you will call me 'my husband'; you will no longer call me 'my master.'

2:17. I will remove the names of the Baals from her lips; no longer will their names be invoked.

2:18. In that day I will make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field and the birds of the air and the creatures that move along the ground. Bow and sword and battle I will abolish from the land, so that all may lie down in safety.

2:19. I will betroth you to me forever; I will betroth you in righteousness and justice, in love and compassion.

2:20. I will betroth you in faithfulness, and you will acknowledge the LORD.

2:21. "In that day I will respond," declares the LORD--"I will respond to the skies, and they will respond to the earth;

2:22. and the earth will respond to the grain, the new wine and oil, and they will respond to Jezreel.

2:23. I will plant her for myself in the land; I will show my love to the one I called 'Not my loved one.' I will say to those called 'Not my people,' 'You are my people'; and they will say, 'You are my God.'"

SHOWER (Reflection):

Our God is ever faithful, merciful and lovely. He promised to restore us and in today's message, He is assuring us immediate restoration. The month of December is actually the month of restoration. But the goodies usually start by late November. That is what is about to happen. All your touring, sufferings, pains, agony and problems from January to November, is going to receive instant blessings. That is what December ought to be. See verses 20 to 23 of our message and see why it is time to praise God. Don't join them in killing yourself for the month of December. Just wait for Him to bless you for all you have done from the beginning of the year. God will surely restore us in Jesus name, Amen. 

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God of restoration, restore my life, joy, love and family as this month comes to end in Jesus name, Amen.

2. Attackers of my destiny; Attackers of my restoration; Attackers of my life. Jesus Christ is against you. Receive fire of God and die in Jesus name, Amen.

3. By the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, November cannot come to end without allowing God's blessing that will announce me to the world in Jesus name, Amen!!!

TODAY’S TOPIC: The Mountain Moving faith 

Text: Matthew 8:5-13(NIV):

"8:5. When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help.

8:6. "Lord," he said, "my servant lies at home paralyzed and in terrible suffering."

8:7. Jesus said to him, "I will go and heal him."

8:8. The centurion replied, "Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.

8:9. For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and that one, 'Come,' and he comes. I say to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it."

8:10. When Jesus heard this, he was astonished and said to those following him, "I tell you the truth, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.

8:11. I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.

8:12. But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

8:13. Then Jesus said to the centurion, "Go! It will be done just as you believed it would." And his servant was healed at that very hour."

SHOWER (Reflection):

According to Hebrew 11: 1, faith is assurance of things hoped for and evidence of things not seen. It is an asset that you must tap from if you must excel. From our today's scriptural passage, you will discover that faith is really needed. Many are forcing their ways to visit one God's servant or another for miracle. They wouldn't mind if they must buy forms, tickets or pay cash just to secure appointment or healing with them. But here, a centurion, only pleaded for a word which he believed must set his servant free. If it is to be people of today, they will insist on purchasing air ticket to and fro, or transport fare just to ensure the God's servant visit their houses. We must remove this kind mentality as we move to 2023. You can't bribe your way to success. It comes naturally to the faithful.

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O faithful God, speak the word and I shall be made whole. I don't doubt and I won't doubt on efficiency or efficacy of Your word again, in Jesus name, Amen.

2. Satanic go-slow propel by evil world to attack me this month, I command you to be roasted by fire in Jesus name, Amen.

3. By the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, November cannot end without allowing God's blessing that will announce me to the world in Jesus name, Amen!!!

TODAY’S TOPIC: The attributes of a Good listener 

Text: Proverb 18:10-15 (NIV)

"18:10. The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.

18:11. The wealth of the rich is their fortified city; they imagine it an unscalable wall.

18:12. Before his downfall a man's heart is proud, but humility comes before honor.

18:13. He who answers before listening--that is his folly and his shame.

18:14. A man's spirit sustains him in sickness, but a crushed spirit who can bear?

18:15. The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge; the ears of the wise seek it out."

SHOWER (Reflection):

According to today's scriptural passage, a good listener pays attention to details. He/She thinks before replying. A good listener goes to whom or where to learn; not where  to teach. It is the heart that discerns that learns so fast. Do not be proud. It is when you hear or listens well that you can answer or do things perfectly. 

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, thank You for bringing me among the living today. Please make me a good listener that I may imbibe wisdom and prosper in Jesus name, Amen.

2. O you satanic power knocking at my door for evil, I bind you and cast you into fire in Jesus name, Amen.

3. By the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, I cannot be what my enemies said or think I will become in Jesus name, Amen.

4. O God arise, shame them that want to shame me this month in Jesus name, Amen!!!

TODAY’S TOPIC: Be Yourself 

Text: 1 Thesolonnians 4:7-12 (NIV)

"4:7. For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.

4:8. Therefore, he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit.

4:9. Now about brotherly love we do not need to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love each other.

4:10. And in fact, you do love all the brothers throughout Macedonia. Yet we urge you, brothers, to do so more and more.

4:11. Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told you,4:12. so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody."

SHOWER (Reflection):

What have you passed through in life that you allowed to define your existence? Come on! Have a rethink and move on for God loved you. And want the best out of you. Come rain, come shine...love yourself and others. Live Holy life as God instructed. You do not need to allow problems or crisis overwhelmed you. 

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, help me to be myself. I am willing to love. Let me be loved too in Jesus name, Amen.

2. O Jesus, I stand by Your authority and power to trample upon anything on my way to success in Jesus name, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Guarding Your treasure 

Text: Matthew 6:19-23 (NIV)

"6:19. Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.

6:20. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.

6:21. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

6:22. "The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light.

6:23. But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!"

SHOWER (Reflection):

Treasure is your loved or valued item. There is no one that value or treasure what they don't value. According to our today's Buble passage, our treasure is supposed to be stored in a safe place depending on how we valued it. Yes. If you value money, you store it in the bank for onward use. If you value clothes, you store it in the wardrobe. This is to keep it safe for future use and benefits. But one day, all these things listed will be rotten, stolen or join the dead body of the owner to the grave. That's why God wants us to secure our heart in Heaven. He sees our heart as the most valuable treasure. Let's secure it now to avoid hard I know. How can we do that? It is by giving our lives to Christ; living holy and relating well with God and people around us.

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, help me secure my treasure where it cannot be eaten my termites or mots in Jesus name, Amen.

2. O Jesus, I stand by Your authority and power to trample upon anything on my way to success in Jesus name, Amen.
