Prayer before the Word: 

 _ O God, my King, my Your name be highly glorified for the gift of life. Forgive my trespasses. Please, show me Your way, and assist me to follow it to the end in Jesus name, Amen_ 

TODAY’S TOPIC: Limitless Repentance 

Text: Mark 12:1-11 (NIV): 

"12:1. He then began to speak to them in parables: "A man planted a vineyard. He put a wall around it, dug a pit for the winepress and built a watchtower. Then he rented the vineyard to some farmers and went away on a journey.

12:2. At harvest time he sent a servant to the tenants to collect from them some of the fruit of the vineyard.

12:3. But they seized him, beat him and sent him away empty-handed.

12:4. Then he sent another servant to them; they struck this man on the head and treated him shamefully.

12:5. He sent still another, and that one they killed. He sent many others; some of them they beat, others they killed.

12:6. "He had one left to send, a son, whom he loved. He sent him last of all, saying, 'They will respect my son.'

12:7. "But the tenants said to one another, 'This is the heir. Come, let's kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.'

12:8. So they took him and killed him, and threw him out of the vineyard.

12:9. "What then will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and kill those tenants and give the vineyard to others.12:10. Haven't you read this scripture: "'The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone;

12:11. the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes'?"

SHOWER (Reflection):

God by this today's teaching, is talking about importance of many things. One is repentance. It is something you should do constantly without season. Bible adds that you should forgive always. Again, it teaches us about consistency in prayers. On no account must you keep data and details of wrongdoings. That will show you the way.

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, make me an instrument to serve You in truth and honesty in Jesus name, Amen.

2. I decree that whatever God planted in my life must arise and shine i Jesus nakr me now. My lost hope shall be regained in Jesus name, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: I will not leave you unless you blessed me

Text: 2 Kings 4:28-37 (NIV): 

"4:28. Did I ask you for a son, my lord?" she said. "Didn't I tell you, 'Don't raise my hopes'?"

4:29. Elisha said to Gehazi, "Tuck your cloak into your belt, take my staff in your hand and run. If you meet anyone, do not greet him, and if anyone greets you, do not answer. Lay my staff on the boy's face."

4:30. But the child's mother said, "As surely as the LORD lives and as you live, I will not leave you." So he got up and followed her.4:31. Gehazi went on ahead and laid the staff on the boy's face, but there was no sound or response. So Gehazi went back to meet Elisha and told him, "The boy has not awakened."

4:32. When Elisha reached the house, there was the boy lying dead on his couch.4:33. He went in, shut the door on the two of them and prayed to the LORD.

4:34. Then he got on the bed and lay upon the boy, mouth to mouth, eyes to eyes, hands to hands. As he stretched himself out upon him, the boy's body grew warm.4:35. Elisha turned away and walked back and forth in the room and then got on the bed and stretched out upon him once more. The boy sneezed seven times and opened his eyes.

4:36. Elisha summoned Gehazi and said, "Call the Shunammite." And he did. When she came, he said, "Take your son."

4:37. She came in, fell at his feet and bowed to the ground. Then she took her son and went out."

SHOWER (Reflection):

When you are confronted with many challenges, don't hesitate to cry onto God. He will surely hear your prayers. Today's scripture demonstrate the power of God to hear and wipe tears when one has a solid covenant with Him. The Shunammite woman was sure of the healing when she said I won't leave you. What happened next? God restored the son's life. 

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, do not forsake me. I won't leave until you bless me in Jesus name, Amen.

2. O God, the heaven and earth were created with blessings through Your spoken words. Please, command the earth to be a blessing unto me today in Jesus name, Amen!

3. I will not die but live to glorify the name of God. Behold, He is doing a new thing for me now. My lost hope shall be regained in Jesus name, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Your obedience will uplift you

Text: Deuteronomy 11:22-28 (NIV): 

" 11:22. If you carefully observe all these commands I am giving you to follow--to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways and to hold fast to him--

11:23. then the LORD will drive out all these nations before you, and you will dispossess nations larger and stronger than you.

11:24. Every place where you set your foot will be yours: Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the Euphrates River to the western sea.

11:25 . No man will be able to stand against you. The LORD your God, as he promised you, will put the terror and fear of you on the whole land, wherever you go.

11:26. See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse--

11:27. the blessing if you obey the commands of the LORD your God that I am giving you today;

11:28. the curse if you disobey the commands of the LORD your God and turn from the way that I command you today by following other gods, which you have not known."

SHOWER (Reflection):

Bible says that obedience is better than sacrifice. When Saul was an obedient child, he prospered to an extent that he became a king. But when he suddenly turned against God's instructions, we saw how he lost the kingdom. Abraham, Moses, Joshua, David and others enjoyed. If you want to gain or go higher life, you must have a good covenant with God and obey it all through. With this, you will go higher in life. 

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, all things belonged to You. All power belonged to You. Please, make me an obedient child so that I will serve You better, live longer and prosperous in Jesus name, Amen.

2. O God, enable me to eat and drink the fruits of an obedient child You destined to me in Jesus name, Amen!.

3. Today, this week, and this month, God will favour me in the morning, afternoon and at night. All that concerns me must be what He approved and destined for me in Jesus name, Amen.

Divine Encounter

TODAY’S TOPIC: Divine Encounter 

Text: Acts 16:16-19 (NIV): 

"16:16. Once when we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl who had a spirit by which she predicted the future. She earned a great deal of money for her owners by fortune-telling.

16:17. This girl followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, "These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved."

16:18. She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so troubled that he turned around and said to the spirit, "In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!" At that moment the spirit left her.

16:19. When the owners of the slave girl realized that their hope of making money was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to face the authorities."

SHOWER (Reflection):

God is divine. When you encounter Him, things will change in your life for good. A fortune teller or girl possessed with evil spirit, was used here for money making purposes. Her story, however, changed on the day she met Jesus through the disciples. She was set free. Her masters were thrown into confusion. Today, God will do more than that for us individually and collectively in Jesus name, Amen.

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, help me to encounter You today on my way to make money or schooling in Jesus name, Amen.

2. O Jesus, I make bold to call You my all in all. Appear by fire and disgrace those who have been using me selfishly in Jesus name, Amen!.

3. This is my month. This is my week. This is my day. I will not rest until God use me to perfect His plans for my life and the world in Jesus name, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: What did you see? 

Text: Matthew 11:1-5 (NIV): 

"11:1. After Jesus had finished instructing his twelve disciples, he went on from there to teach and preach in the towns of Galilee.

11:2. When John heard in prison what Christ was doing, he sent his disciples

11:3. To ask him, "Are you the one who was to come, or should we expect someone else?"

11:4. Jesus replied, "Go back and report to John what you hear and see:

11:5. The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor."

SHOWER (Reflection):

God is doing a new thing for us this season. You need to allow Him access to your life for continuation and perfection. When God start working in your life, your friends and enemies will be astonished. You can see how the great John, full of surprises, sent in his disciples to find out if actually is Jesus. That is how it will happen to you when you allow God to work in you using you. 

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, I thank You for a new day. Help me to showcase the light others will follow in  Jesus name, amen.

2. O God of amazing grace, do a miracle in my life that will make people ask if actually am still that man or woman they know in  Jesus name, Amen!.

3. I shall be a giver this month. I will give joy, money, love and care to people around me as I receive them constantly from God in Jesus name, Amen.
