Prayer before the Word: 

 _ O God, my King, my Your name be highly glorified for the gift of life. Forgive my trespasses. Please, show me Your way, and assist me to follow it to the end in Jesus name, Amen_ 

TODAY’S TOPIC: Don't eat to forget God

Text: Mark 9:38-42 (NIV): 

"8:11. Be careful that you do not forget the LORD your God, failing to observe his commands, his laws and his decrees that I am giving you this day.

8:12. Otherwise, when you eat and are satisfied, when you build fine houses and settle down,

8:13. and when your herds and flocks grow large and your silver and gold increase and all you have is multiplied,

8:14. then your heart will become proud and you will forget the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

8:15. He led you through the vast and dreadful desert, that thirsty and waterless land, with its venomous snakes and scorpions. He brought you water out of hard rock.

8:16. He gave you manna to eat in the desert, something your fathers had never known, to humble and to test you so that in the end it might go well with you.

8:17. You may say to yourself, "My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me."

8:18. But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today.

8:19. If you ever forget the LORD your God and follow other gods and worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will surely be destroyed.

8:20. Like the nations the LORD destroyed before you, so you will be destroyed for not obeying the LORD your God."

SHOWER (Reflection):

Our God blessed and asked us not to forget Him. He assured that we will make more and enjoy. But we should not forget Him in all we do and wherever we are. 

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, I trust you are my father. I pray to remain faithful onto God. Help me to serve You better today in Jesus name, amen.

2. By the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, I will never lack or go backward in Jesus name, Amen!.

3. As I'm marching out today, favour, blessings and miracles that will change my story for good on earth and heaven shall rise, locate and embrace me in Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Our God is for all

TODAY’S TOPIC: Our God is for all

Text: Mark 9:38-42 (NIV): 

"9:38. 'Teacher,' said John, 'we saw a man driving out demons in your name and we told him to stop, because he was not one of us.'

9:39. 'Do not stop him,' Jesus said. "No one who does a miracle in my name can in the next moment say anything bad about me,

9:40. for whoever is not against us is for us.

9:41. I tell you the truth, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to Christ will certainly not lose his reward.

9:42. And if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone tied around his neck."

SHOWER (Reflection):

God is our Lord and saviour. He is God unto all; both those who believed in Him and those not believe Him. This is why He chose to have mercy on whoever He chooses to. However, only those who believes in Him; and keeps His commandment that enjoy full right and benefits of sonship or daughtership. That is why He is calling on us today to do away with having hatred to one another. There is no need to discriminate against one another due to differences in denominations, units, tribes or race. Trust in Him and see the benefits coming your way.

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, I am sorry for allowing my ego, pride or ignorance to mislead me. I have staged a quick return to You. Please accept and show me the way in Jesus name, amen.

2. Any spirit, principality or power, bringing discrimination or divisions in the body of Christ for whatever gain or reason. In the name of Jesus, I command you to be roasted by fire, Amen!.

Do not be afraid

 _ O God, my King, my Your name be highly glorified for the gift of life. Forgive my trespasses. Please, show me Your way, and assist me to follow it to the end in Jesus name, Amen_ 

TODAY’S TOPIC: Do not be afraid 

Text: Deuteronomy 7:20-26 (NIV): 

"7:20. Moreover, the LORD your God will send the hornet among them until even the survivors who hide from you have perished.

7:21. Do not be terrified by them, for the LORD your God, who is among you, is a great and awesome God.

7:22. The LORD your God will drive out those nations before you, little by little. You will not be allowed to eliminate them all at once, or the wild animals will multiply around you.

7:23. But the LORD your God will deliver them over to you, throwing them into great confusion until they are destroyed.

7:24. He will give their kings into your hand, and you will wipe out their names from under heaven. No one will be able to stand up against you; you will destroy them.

7:25. The images of their gods you are to burn in the fire. Do not covet the silver and gold on them, and do not take it for yourselves, or you will be ensnared by it, for it is detestable to the LORD your God.

7:26. Do not bring a detestable thing into your house or you, like it, will be set apart for destruction. Utterly abhor and detest it, for it is set apart for destruction."

SHOWER (Reflection):

We are often confronted by different situations and challenges of lives. God is assuring us that He will give us victory. Total victory is all He promised us. But He noted that He will destroy them little by little. What does it reveal to us about supremacy of God? It shows that our God can do things at all times. It also proves that God loves following established protocols as provided by Himself. This could be why answers to our prayers are sometimes delayed. God might be doing greater things, fighting 'little' other battles or so that will enable us to stay alive and enjoy the bigger one when it happens at last. So never loose hope. Trust and follow Him at all cost. You won't be disappointed. 

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, show me mercy. Have Your way in my life. I stand to be counted as a Your worthy child in Jesus name, amen.

2. O God, I will patiently wait for You to do all things You proposed in my life even if it takes time to come in Jesus name, Amen!.

3. I am God's ambassador. I must be favoured by people around me. My destiny helpers must locate me with what God destined for me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Believe and be healed

Text: Mark 9:17-24(NIV): 

"9:17. A man in the crowd answered, "Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit that has robbed him of speech.

9:18. Whenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to drive out the spirit, but they could not."

9:19. "O unbelieving generation," Jesus replied, "how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy to me."

9:20. So they brought him. When the spirit saw Jesus, it immediately threw the boy into a convulsion. He fell to the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth.9:21. Jesus asked the boy's father, "How long has he been like this?" "From childhood," he answered.

9:22. "It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us."

9:23. "'If you can'?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for him who believes."

9:24. Immediately the boy's father exclaimed, "I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!"

SHOWER (Reflection):

Today's scriptural reflection wants us to understand what God wants from us always is faith. He says here that all things are possible if we can belief without doubting. Is it sickness, joblessness or whatever? If you read down to verse 25 up, you will see how God cast out demons. 

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, forgive me and help my unbelief to become believe in Jesus name, Amen. Higher I go in all that concerns me in Jesus name, amen.

2. O God, cast out all the demons troubling my home. Shower me with a Town-Hall  Jesus name, Amen!.

3. I am not bothered over the pranks of the enemy. My God will same the devil. I am victorious forever in Jesus name, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Divine Instructions

Text: Acts 11:12-18 (NIV): 

"11:12. The Spirit told me to have no hesitation about going with them. These six brothers also went with me, and we entered the man's house.

11:13. He told us how he had seen an angel appear in his house and say, 'Send to Joppa for Simon who is called Peter.

11:14. He will bring you a message through which you and all your household will be saved.'

11:15. "As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit came on them as he had come on us at the beginning.

11:16. Then I remembered what the Lord had said: 'John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.'

11:17. So if God gave them the same gift as he gave us, who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could oppose God?"

11:18. When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God, saying, "So then, God has granted even the Gentiles repentance unto life."

SHOWER (Reflection):

How do you respond to divine instructions? God talks to His children in various ways. He can choose to use your neighbours, friends, relatives, partners or pastors. It can also be in a trance or dream. It takes discerning spirit for you to find out that he is the one calling you. Then, you respond.  The best answers to give them are what was your encounter with God later and tomorrow. Some people have. What is that gifts or talents you were showcased 

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, help me to listen carefully to find out when You called me and respond appropriately in Jesus name, Amen.

2. God use me to win souls for You all through my endeavours in Jesus name, Amen!.

3. I am not bothered over the pranks of the enemy. My God will same the devil. I am victorious forever in Jesus name, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Tell them

Text: Deuteronomy 6:20-25 (NIV): 

"6:20. In the future, when your son asks you, "What is the meaning of the stipulations, decrees and laws the LORD our God has commanded you?"

6:21 tell him: "We were slaves of Pharaoh in Egypt, but the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand.

6:22. Before our eyes the LORD sent miraculous signs and wonders--great and terrible--upon Egypt and Pharaoh and his whole household.

6:23. But he brought us out from there to bring us in and give us the land that he promised on oath to our forefathers.

6:24. The LORD commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear the LORD our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, as is the case today.

6:25. And if we are careful to obey all this law before the LORD our God, as he has commanded us, that will be our righteousness."

SHOWER (Reflection):

Our lives ought to be a living testimony. We are asked by today's scripture to tell our children, relatives, friends and families what God has done for us. What is that thing God did to you? Have you been able to share the testimony with people? Almighty God is asking now to do that. The covenant you had with God; have you kept it, and also tell your people to also stick to it live longer and enjoy same testimonies? We should try to keep to our words. God is always keeping to His. 

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, I am sorry for not keeping to my covenant with You. Empower me to stick to it and also spread the message to my people so they can live longer and enjoy same benefits in Jesus name, Amen.

2. God is with me. I am with God. There is nothing enemy can do to stop me from enjoying a glorious week this week in Jesus name, Amen!.

3. I am not bothered over the pranks of the enemy. My God will same the devil. I am victorious forever in Jesus name, Amen.
