TODAY’S TOPIC: The Good news

Text: Collossians 1: 4 -8 (AMP Bible)

"For we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus [how you lean on Him with absolute confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness], and of the [unselfish] love which you have for all the saints (God’s people); because of the [confident] hope [of experiencing that] which is reserved and waiting for you in heaven. You previously heard of this hope in the message of truth, the gospel [regarding salvation] which has come to you. Indeed, just as in the whole world the gospel is constantly bearing fruit and spreading [by God’s power], just as it has been doing among you ever since the day you first heard of it and understood the grace of God in truth [becoming thoroughly and deeply acquainted with it]. You learned it from [our representative] Epaphras, our beloved fellow bond-servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on our behalf and he also has told us of your love [well-grounded and nurtured] in the [Holy] Spirit."

*SHOWER:*

Paul in today's texts is very excited because of the goodness; growth of the Gospel, relationship between the brethren, etc. What have you done for the growth of the Gospel in your church, street, etc. Are you happy when your neighbours are happy? We must live happily with the brethren. 

 

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

I worship God for today's teaching. Help me to uphold them and walk according to Your words and instructions in Jesus name, Amen!

*1. I'm happy for the growth of Gospel at my households. The grace of God to do more exploit are already in me. Therefore, I hereby  decree and declare that no evil shall come near me again in Jesus name, amen."

TODAY’S TOPIC: I will let you inherit your father's property 

Text: Jeremiah 7:3-7 (AMP Bible)

“Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, “Change your ways and your behavior, and I will let you live in this place. “Do not trust in the deceptive and lying words [of the false prophets who claim that Jerusalem will be protected by God because of the temple], saying, ‘This is the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord.’ For if you thoroughly change your ways and your behavior, if you thoroughly and honestly practice justice between a man and his neighbor, if you do not oppress the transient and the foreigner, the orphan, or the widow, and do not shed innocent blood [by oppression and by unjust judicial murders] in Jerusalem, nor follow after other gods to your own ruin, then I will let you live in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers [to live in] forever and ever."

*SHOWER:*

Inheritance is one major crisis testing and tearing homes apart. We know the story of a prodigal son who took his share of their father's property to squinder. He was able to return to the father later and was accepted. Hope you know that by so doing he may likely takeover the inheritance again. In verse 3 of today's reading, God is begging us to return with assurance. He wants us to amend our ways, assuring that if we follow Him gently and lovely, He will let us live in peace in the land He gave to our father. What is that land God has promised to gift us? It's land of favour, opportunities, peace of mind and others. It is His heavenly kingdom at last. Wake up to behold a new thing.

I worship God for today's teaching. Help me to uphold them and walk according to Your words and instructions in Jesus name, Amen!

*1. I have accepted to amend my ways and follow you alone diligently. God let Your Grace and mercy help me to achieve this in Jesus name, Amen!*

 _Glorious God, receive glory and honour. Be though exalted in the highest for making me a living testimony today. I seek Your presence and directions as I study Your word in Jesus name, Amen_ 

TODAY’S TOPIC: What is your passion?

Text: John 4: 34-38(AMP Bible)

“Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to completely finish His work. Do you not say, ‘It is still four months until the harvest comes?’ Look, I say to you, raise your eyes and look at the fields and see, they are white for harvest. Already the reaper is receiving his wages and he is gathering fruit for eternal life; so that he who plants and he who reaps may rejoice together. For in this case the saying is true, ‘One [person] sows and another reaps.’ I sent you to reap [a crop] for which you have not worked. Others have worked and you have been privileged to reap the results of their work.”

*SHOWER:*

Our Lord Jesus says His food, passion or willingness is to do the will of He who sent Him? So, the question is; "What do you passion for? What is your food?" Is it fighting? Is it about gossiping? We must have something we are known for individually and collectively. He sent us to reap the fruits we didn't show or sowed but didn't force to germinate. It's a call for us to strive to fulfill the God's purpose for our life. A call for service . It is not about ordinary food. Identify your calling and follow it passionately to serve God in truth and honesty. 

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

I thank You, God for Your love and care to save me. I pray for Your Grace to feed others with this food You fed me in Jesus name, Amen.

*1. I'm created in the likeness of God. Therefore, my food is also to live like Christ on Earth.*

*2. I will forever working for God in all I do.*

Future of the Greed

TODAY’S TOPIC: Future of the Greed

Text: Jeremiah 6:12-15 (AMP Bible)

“Their houses shall be turned over to others, Their fields and their wives together; For I will stretch out My hand Against the inhabitants of the land,” says the Lord. “For from the least of them even to the greatest of them, Everyone is greedy for [unfair] gain; And from the prophet even to the priest Everyone deals deceitfully. “They have treated superficially the [bloody] broken wound of My people, Saying, ‘Peace, peace,’ When there is no peace. “Were they ashamed because they had committed disgusting and vile things? No, they were not at all ashamed; They did not even know how to blush [at their idolatry]. Therefore they will fall among those who fall; At the time that I punish them They will be overthrown,” says the Lord."

*SHOWER:*

The greed or selfish people are more concerned with themselves. The world has turned into such. Everyone is concerned or interested on what will directly enrich them to the detriment of others. Verse 13 says "For from the least of them even to the greatest of them, Everyone is greedy for [unfair] gain; And from the prophet even to the priest Everyone deals deceitfully." No wonder families are in ruin, communities are in crisis, our leaders are nothing to write home about, etc. What of the Church? From members to pastors, Bishops or name them, the centre is no longer holding. Do they have future? What is future of the greed? Yes, they have future. And it is destruction. They will fell and be punished accordingly. Verse 15 says it all. If you look around you will see it happening everywhere. Aren't you seeing it? Are you part of them? If not, congratulations...keeping pressing harder to attain the heavenly prize. If you are part of them, kindly refrain and be safe. 

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

O God, I thank You for feeding me this morning. I exalt Your name. Please have mercy on me and let Your Grace empower me not to deviate again in Jesus name, Amen.

*1. The God, Almighty has taken over my life. Because I am in Christ Jesus, the old things have passed away in my life.*

*2. Every atom of imperfection in my life shall become perfect because God in me is bigger than greed in them. Therefore, I will not be greed.*

*3. I hereby decree and declare that I will not be greedy. I will not also suffer in the hands of greedy people. My going and coming shall be a blessing to me and my household. Every person I meet must also be blessed richly in Christ Jesus, Amen.*

TODAY’S TOPIC: Why you  must be separated from them now you're saved

Text: 2 Corinthians 6: 14-18 (AMP Bible)

“Do not be unequally bound together with unbelievers [do not make mismatched alliances with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership can righteousness have with lawlessness? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony can there be between Christ and Belial (Satan)? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said: “I will dwell among them and walk among them; And I will be their God, and they shall be My people. “So come out from among unbelievers and be separate,” says the Lord, “And do not touch what is unclean; And I will graciously receive you and welcome you [with favor], And I will be a Father to you, And you will be My sons and daughters,” Says the Lord Almighty."

*SHOWER:*

When God created the heaven and the Earth, we were told how He used water to separate them. He also used light to distinguish between the day and the night. He did the same thing to show the day and the night. Because of this, day had to know that it is a day and give chance for the night at an appropriate time. So, what is still keeping you? There is need for a man to clearly show who he is at every material time. If you are born-again, there is need for you to depict that in your behaviour and words. Separation helps one to multiply. That is why the Bible also says that now a man leaves his parents to join together with his wife, and both of them becomes one. When a slave separates from the master, he is bound to acquire property and even slaves too. In business, learners become masters when they separate from their masters to found their own. By so doing, business and commodities get much closer to final consumers at cheaper rate. So, you need to separate so that you will become stronger in faith, able to work wonders and serve God in truth and honesty, to take the message far away to the Hinterland, etc. Ask God to give you Grace to separate from the unbelievers now because if you don't separate, you will not grow. In fact, what you have may be collected from you when you refuse to separate.

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

I worship You, father for today's word. Help me with Your Grace to separate and grow to become a reliable vessel in Your hands, Amen!

*1. I am child of God. I therefore receive the power from above to separate from all that is tying me down.*

*2. Having received the power of God to separate from the evil, powerless powers and failures, I will not share anything common with them again!*

*3. I hereby decree and declare that the glory of God will shield me, lead me and empower me to succeed in areas of my life today and forever in Jesus name, Amen.*

TODAY’S TOPIC: The effects of serving strang gods

Text: Jeremiah 5: 14-19 (AMP Bible)

“Therefore, thus says the Lord God of hosts, “Because you [people] have spoken this word, Behold, I am making My words a fire in your mouth [Jeremiah] And this people wood, and My words will consume them. “Behold, I am bringing a nation against you from far away, O house of Israel,” says the Lord. “It is a mighty and enduring nation, It is an ancient nation, A nation whose language you do not know, Whose words you do not comprehend. “Their quiver is [filled with the dead] like an open grave; They are all mighty men [heroes of their nation]. “They will consume your harvest and [eat up] your bread; They will consume your sons and your daughters; They will consume your flocks and your herds; They will consume your vines and your fig trees. With the sword they will break down and demolish your fortified cities in which you trust. “But even in those days,” says the Lord, “I will not totally destroy you. It will come about when your people say, ‘Why has the Lord our God done all these things to us?’ then you shall answer them, ‘As you have abandoned (rejected) Me,’ [says the Lord,] ‘and have served strange and foreign gods in your land, so you will serve strangers in a land that is not yours."

*SHOWER:*

Our God is a jealous God. In the ten Commandments, He seriously warned us to have no other god besides Him. What does that tells you? It shows there are other gods. But only Him stands out as one and only true God. He's the creator of universe, and as such, wouldn't want us to be controlled or corrupted by anything (including the gods). To help us run away from evils and temptations of serving more gods, He constantly provides us with many things as alternative. Unfortunately, like Israelites, we are frequently abusing the opportunities and privileges God gave to us. We have spoken against Him. We have chosen our phones, buildings, experiences, wealth and others to replace God. The prices of these sins we are committing are sicknesses, pains and agony, loss and confusion. He's calling on us to return now or face the consequences. That is: denying us all that we have been enjoying; turning us into strangers; allow us to go into slavery instead of becoming princes, etc. Would you want to experience or continue experiencing these tribulations? If not turn back now and embrace God. 

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

O God I thank You for allowing me another opportunity to hear from You. Have mercy on me and empower me to be the doer of the word in Jesus name, Amen!

*1. My God is a good God. All I have is Him. Therefore, I cannot be over powered by temptations to serve other gods.*

*2. I will continue to grow from strength to strength, Grace to Grace in Jesus name, Amen!*

*3. I hereby decree and declare that everything around me, about me and of me will serve and reference God alone.*

*4. I shall have wealth and use my wealth to serve and worship God alone in Jesus name, Amen!*

TODAY’S TOPIC: God knows your case 

Text: Psalm 139:1-4 (AMP Bible)

“ O Lord, you have searched me [thoroughly] and have known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up [my entire life, everything I do]; You understand my thought from afar. You scrutinize my path and my lying down, And You are intimately acquainted with all my ways. Even before there is a word on my tongue [still unspoken], Behold, O Lord, You know it all."

*SHOWER:*

Our God is ever loving and ever careful. He knows all our case, who we are and how we can get what. It is incumbent on us to learn and follow Him. Today's passage explained this. He said He knows what want and will provide them at the right time. So, it would be great you apply wisdom by thanking Him as God will surely open that door .

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

O God I worship You for another great day and impactful words. Please help me  not to draw bank.

*1. God's our great God. He knows everything about my case.*

*2. Therefore, my God has taken care or charge of all that concerns me.*

*3. I hereby decree and declare that I shall not suffer shame or disgrace in my life, family or business in Jesus name, Amen!*
