TODAY’S TOPIC: The Supremacy of God

Text: Romans 9:25-33 (NIV): 

"9:25.  As he says in Hosea: "I will call them 'my people' who are not my people; and I will call her 'my loved one' who is not my loved one,"

9:26.  and, "It will happen that in the very place where it was said to them, 'You are not my people,' they will be called 'sons of the living God.'

"9:27.  Isaiah cries out concerning Israel: "Though the number of the Israelites be like the sand by the sea, only the remnant will be saved.

9:28.  For the Lord will carry out his sentence on earth with speed and finality.

"9:29.  It is just as Isaiah said previously: "Unless the Lord Almighty had left us descendants, we would have become like Sodom, we would have been like Gomorrah."

9:30.  What then shall we say? That the Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have obtained it, a righteousness that is by faith;

9:31.  but Israel, who pursued a law of righteousness, has not attained it.

9:32.  Why not? Because they pursued it not by faith but as if it were by works. They stumbled over the "stumbling stone."

9:33.  As it is written: "See, I lay in Zion a stone that causes men to stumble and a rock that makes them fall, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame."

SHOWER (Reflection):

God does not forget. He is the only man who speaks and it came to pass. When you have tried all you could to run away from sins or bad acts, click unto Him to overcome. He choose to call one a son and He becomes a son. If he decides to uplift you from sins and sorrows, no one will stop Him. Therefore, you have to recognise Him in your life today. 

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. God, I need You to overcome the challenges of life. I hereby follow You to attend the prize.

2. All attempts to stop me are hereby stopped. My day of rising and rising has come. It shall be so because Jesus is my maker and my friend.

Who shall separate us from the love of God?

 _ O God, my King, my Your name be highly glorified for the gift of life. Forgive my trespasses. Please, shower me with Your unmerited favour. Show me Your way, and assist me to follow it to the end in Jesus  name, Amen_ 

TODAY’S TOPIC: Who shall separate us from the love of God?

Text: Romans 8:31-39 (NIV): 

"8:31.  What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

8:32.  He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all--how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

8:33.  Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.

8:34.  Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died--more than that, who was raised to life--is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

8:35.  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?

8:36.  As it is written: "For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."

8:37.  No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

8:38.  For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,

8:39.  neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

SHOWER (Reflection):

God's love to man is inseparable. If He had wanted it separated, He wouldn't have sent His son, Jesus Christ to die for our sake. Shall we now use because of His mercy and grace to continue commiting sin? The answer is also no. On no account should we allow the things of the world to separate us from the love of God. Is it money, food, relationship or what? Bible was emphatic on this to remind us they were all created by God. If you submit unto Him, He will give you all things according to His riches in Glory. Cheers! Christ Jesus will never forsake His own. 

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. God's blessing adds no sorrow. Therefore, I will no longer be sorrowful. I will continue to shine in Jesus name, Amen.

2. God has made me a conqueror. All the spirits and powers from my father's house are hereby terminated and rendered lifeless forever in Jesus name, Amen.

*3. I hereby decree and declare God's favour upon me in my family, business and all that concerns me in  Jesus name, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: The humble shall be lifted 

Text: Luke 14:5-14 (NIV): 

"14:5.  Then he asked them, "If one of you has a son or an ox that falls into a well on the Sabbath day, will you not immediately pull him out?"

14:6.  And they had nothing to say.

14:7.  When he noticed how the guests picked the places of honor at the table, he told them this parable:

14:8.  "When someone invites you to a wedding feast, do not take the place of honor, for a person more distinguished than you may have been invited.

14:9. If so, the host who invited both of you will come and say to you, 'Give this man your seat.' Then, humiliated, you will have to take the least important place.

14:10.  But when you are invited, take the lowest place, so that when your host comes, he will say to you, 'Friend, move up to a better place.' Then you will be honored in the presence of all your fellow guests.14:11.  For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted."

14:12.  Then Jesus said to his host, "When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid.14:13.  But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind,14:14.  and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous."

SHOWER (Reflection):

When you humbled yourself, you shall be lifted. That is the summary of today's scripture. The price of humility is very small. It is a call to respect oneself and respect others. Another lesson is that hypocrite is bad. Don't do things to favour others to the detriment of the truth, justice and realism. Jesus asked the Pharisees question on their believe and reality on ground, they couldn't provide answer to that because they were hypocrites. He, therefore, forgot what they could say or do, and went ahead to do the right thing. Always stick to the right thing irrespective of whatever situation or socalled law of man. 

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

O God, I thank You for showing me the way this day. May Your grace lead me to stick to that in Jesus name, Amen!

*1. My God has showed me that He is a perfect example of humility, truth and justice. My life will take path of these in Jesus name, Amen.

*2. God has empowered me to go higher. Therefore, everything I need to grow and prosper in life must come my way in Jesus name , Amen.

*3. I hereby decree and declare that my delayed blessing, answers to my prayers and favour shall locate me now in Jesus name, Amen.

Enemies be blindfolded

TODAY’S TOPIC: Enemies be blindfolded 

Text: Ezra 5:1-5 (NIV): 

"5:1.  How Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the prophet, a descendant of Iddo, prophesied to the Jews in Judah and Jerusalem in the name of the God of Israel, who was over them.

5:2.  Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and Jeshua son of Jozadak set to work to rebuild the house of God in Jerusalem. And the prophets of God were with them, helping them.

5:3.  At that time Tattenai, governor of Trans-Euphrates, and Shethar-Bozenai and their associates went to them and asked, "Who authorized you to rebuild this temple and restore this structure?"

5:4.  They also asked, "What are the names of the men constructing this building?"

5:5.  But the eye of their God was watching over the elders of the Jews, and they were not stopped until a report could go to Darius and his written reply be received."

SHOWER (Reflection):

When God rise for you, every enemy must be subdued. God will not allow them to open their eyes or look towards you until you have achieved your aims in life. All you need is to cry unto Him forgiveness. If He forgives you and empowers you, every mountain of life will become surmountable. Get ready and embrace Him. 

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

O God, I thank You for today's scripture. Help me to build a nation, fix and uplift me beyond the eyes of my enemies in Jesus name, Amen.

*1. I have come to You, Lord Jesus. Blindfold Your enemies and fulfill Your promises in life, Amen.

*2. God has spoken concerning me. I will rejoice and rise above evil men in Jesus name, Amen.

*3. I hereby decree and declare that every spirit and power gathering against me shall be brought down and pieced as I go higher in Jesus name, Amen.

Don't take God's glory

TODAY’S TOPIC: Don't take God's glory 

Text: Luke 10:13-24 (NIV): 

"10:13.  Woe to you, Korazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.

10:14.  But it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you.10:15.  And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted up to the skies? No, you will go down to the depths.

10:16.  "He who listens to you listens to me; he who rejects you rejects me; but he who rejects me rejects him who sent me."

10:17.  The seventy-two returned with joy and said, "Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name."

10:18.  He replied, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.

10:19.  I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.

10:20.  However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven."

10:21.  At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure.

10:22. "All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him."

SHOWER (Reflection):

When God has given you victory over anything, praise Him. Give Him all the glory. Do not rejoice over your victory. Let all the glory be ascribed unto Him. Don't take what belonged to Him. He is the only to take glory whether good or bad. 

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

O God, I thank You for today's scripture. Help me to behold Your spirit and work according to Your purpose for my life in Jesus name, Amen.

*1. I believe in Christ Jesus. I will never take His glory. He will continue to shine upon my life.

*2. God has destined me for greatness. I will continue to rise from glory to glory in Jesus name, Amen.

*3. I hereby decree and declare that whatever spirit or personality in charge of what am passing through must die in Jesus name, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Live by the Spirit 

Text: Romans 8:13-17 (NIV): 

"8:12.  Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation--but it is not to the sinful nature, to live according to it.

8:13. For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live,

8:14.  because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

8:15. For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father."

8:16. The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.

8:17. Now if we are children, then we are heirs--heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory."

SHOWER (Reflection):

When you live by the law (obligation), you may be predisposed to insecurity, angry and inconsistent. A sinful man is never at rest. He always thinks of how to escape judgement, where to commit more sins and go scot-free. But when you are led by the spirit of God, He will direct you accordingly. God's direction will empower you to overcome sins, tribulations, anger, despair and all that. Because verse 16 says that those who led by the Spirit are sons and daughters of God. 

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

O God, I thank You for today's scripture. Help me to behold Your spirit and work according to Your purpose for my life in Jesus name, Amen.

*1. I'm child of God. His spirit will lead me that I may not fell off tracks or the purposes of God in my life in Jesus name, Amen.

*2. God has destined me for greatness. I will continue to rise from glory to glory in Jesus name, Amen.

*3. I hereby decree and declare that Christ Jesus will fight my battle today while I wait and rejoice in Him, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: I remember God's name

Text: Luke 12: 35-45(NIV): 

"119:48. I lift up my hands to your commands, which I love, and I meditate on your decrees.

119:49. Remember your word to your servant, for you have given me hope.

119:50. My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life.

119:51. The arrogant mock me without restraint, but I do not turn from your law.

119:52. I remember your ancient laws, O LORD, and I find comfort in them.

119:53. Indignation grips me because of the wicked, who have forsaken your law.

119:54. Your decrees are the theme of my song wherever I lodge.

119:55. In the night I remember your name, O LORD, and I will keep your law.

119:56.  This has been my practice: I obey your precepts."

SHOWER (Reflection):

Hallelujah for this Lord has done a might thing in our life. We shall praise and glorify His name. His wonders will never cease our tongue. Go to church to sing and praise Him in the highest. There is comfortability in Him. Get ready to worship Him forever and ever. Amen!

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

O God, I thank You for today's scripture. I pray You to direct my footsteps in Jesus name, Amen.

*1. I'm alive today because of God. I will therefore worship and serve Him alone in Jesus name, Amen.

*2. God has taken over all that concerns me. I have continue to grow and move higher in Jesus name, Amen.

*3. I hereby decree and declare that Christ Jesus will fight my battle today while I wait and rejoice in Him, Amen.
