TODAY’S TOPIC: Dried Bones Shall Rise Again

Text: Ezekiel 37:1-10 (NIV):

"37:1. The hand of the LORD was upon me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the LORD and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones.

37:2. He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry.

37:3. He asked me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" I said, "O Sovereign LORD, you alone know."

37:4. Then he said to me, "Prophesy to these bones and say to them, 'Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD!

37:5. This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.

37:6. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.'"

37:7. So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone.

37:8. I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.

37:9. Then he said to me, "Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe into these slain, that they may live.'"

37:10. So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet--a vast army."

SHOWER (Reflection):

The Lord , Almighty has given His saints command to make ways for us where there are no ways. So, don't worry over the dried bones...they will surely become fresh and rise again. Dried bones could be a difficult situation, problems or challenges like what we are currently experiencing all over Nigeria. It occurs mostly when good things are about to happen. Our general elections are by the corner, what is happening should be an eye opener, a great opportunity for us to look inward, cry to God and vote for a tested and trusted leader. This is time for us to vote out corrupt leaders and usher in the corruptibles. Dried bones will rise again. 

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God arise, raise and bring back to life, every dried bones in my life... in Jesus name, Amen.

2. O God of restorations, restore my life for people to see how good you are...in Jesus name, Amen.

3. Every open door in my life the enemy is using to penetrate my life for evil, by the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, i  command you to be shutdown  in Jesus name, Amen!

TODAY’S TOPIC: God's Children are born champions 

Text: Galatians 4:22-31 (NIV):

"4:22. For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave woman and the other by the free woman.

4:23. His son by the slave woman was born in the ordinary way; but his son by the free woman was born as the result of a promise.

4:24. These things may be taken figuratively, for the women represent two covenants. One covenant is from Mount Sinai and bears children who are to be slaves: This is Hagar.

4:25. Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children.

4:26. But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.

4:27. For it is written: "Be glad, O barren woman, who bears no children; break forth and cry aloud, you who have no labor pains; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband."

4:28. Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise.

4:29. At that time the son born in the ordinary way persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit. It is the same now.

4:30. But what does the Scripture say? "Get rid of the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman's son will never share in the inheritance with the free woman's son."

4:31. Therefore, brothers, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman."

SHOWER (Reflection):

Gog's children are the real champions. They (we) are children born of free woman. Those born by free or legitimately married wives should beam the light of hope at their homes. They are engine rooms. Our lives should reflect that in our behaviours. That is, we should display it in our attitudes. If we are actually reflecting it in our daily lives, what is currently happening among us ought not to occur. In Nigeria, specifically, it is annoying. We must not use because others are increasing the fees for accessing money through POS to increase ours too. Why are we also indulging in hoarding or selling Naira notes in banks? Some of our transporters have equally hiked the cost of transportation just as fuel pump price are on iroko too. We can overcome all these by showing love to all. 

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, my father, make me to truly replicate Your kindness and love to others as you do unto me... in Jesus name, Amen.

2. By the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, I shall not suffer want or disgraced by the situations around me (fuel scarcity, Naira scarcity,)...in Jesus name, Amen.

3. O God arise, burn to ashes any power from ny foundations holding unto the goodies You destined for me ti Jesus Christ, Amen!

TODAY’S TOPIC: For God's sake

Text: Ezekiel 36: 22-31 (NIV):

"36:22. Therefore say to the house of Israel, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am going to do these things, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you have gone.

36:23. I will show the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, the name you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD, declares the Sovereign LORD, when I show myself holy through you before their eyes.

36:24. "'For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land.

36:25. I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols.

36:26. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

36:27. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.

36:28. You will live in the land I gave your forefathers; you will be my people, and I will be your God.

36:29. I will save you from all your uncleanness. I will call for the grain and make it plentiful and will not bring famine upon you.

36:30. I will increase the fruit of the trees and the crops of the field, so that you will no longer suffer disgrace among the nations because of famine.

36:31. Then you will remember your evil ways and wicked deeds, and you will loathe yourselves for your sins and detestable practices."

SHOWER (Reflection):

Child of God, welcome to yet another day in the month of love. February holds a lot of blessings unto us. But only few who believe in Christ Jesus will accept and enjoy it or them to the fullness. What is it are you waiting unto God for? Why are you here today? If you follow our reading from verse one down, you will notice that God values His name more than anything. He does not forgot His promises unto us! And that it is not for your sake; not because of the people votes they are at those leadership positions today, not because you pray three times or more that you are still alive today. He is ever merciful and had promised to bless those who value Him. If you know this, sing praises unto Him now, again and again. 

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. I thank You, O lord for finding me worthy of Your blessings despite my worthlessness. As You take me, wash me and uplift me, I promise not to go back to my old vomits... in Jesus name, Amen.

2. By the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, I disgrace all those who have vowed to disgrace me this month...in Jesus name, Amen.

3. O you demonic power preparing to confront me on my way to success, receive the fire of God, die in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

4. O God of open doors, open the doors of favour unto my marriage, education, work or business...in Jesus name, Amen!

TODAY’S TOPIC: Be humble  

Text: Philippians 2:3-8 (NIV):

"2:3. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.

2:4. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.

2:5. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:

2:6. Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,

2:7. but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.

2:8. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death--even death on a cross!

SHOWER (Reflection):

Welcome to the month of February 2023. We Welcome you with great joy and love. The God Almighty who made it possible will perfect Hid plans for us this month. It is not out of place that God brought us in with humility as a topic on the first day. Speaking through Paul, God enjoined us to be selfless, down-to-earth and humane in our thinking and character towards others this month. If you must make it you should be able to consider others and what they can do first before insisting on your own. When you pray this month, first do that for your family, friends and neighbours. Kindly do same and see how God will enrich you beyond measure in Jesus name, Amen.

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. I thank You-Jesus for a gift of life to see the February 1, 2023. I humble and surrender myself for Your use all through the month... in Jesus name, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Do not lose focus 

Text: Galatians 3:19-29 (NIV):

"3:19. What, then, was the purpose of the law? It was added because of transgressions until the Seed to whom the promise referred had come. The law was put into effect through angels by a mediator.

3:20. A mediator, however, does not represent just one party; but God is one.

3:21. Is the law, therefore, opposed to the promises of God? Absolutely not! For if a law had been given that could impart life, then righteousness would certainly have come by the law.

3:22. But the Scripture declares that the whole world is a prisoner of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe.

3:23. Before this faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed.

3:24. So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith.

3:25. Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law.

3:26. You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus,

3:27. for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.

3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

3:29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."

SHOWER (Reflection):

The death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ set us free from many things. One is that it made us become acceptable to God... reconciliation. It affords us to know Him more and draw closer to God more than as it was before. But some people still believe that the law should control them instead of Christ. Not good. It amounts to loosing focus. The law should rather guide, expose, draw and lead us to Christ. Note that the law includes the bible. As we go about, let us maintain our focus on the message not the messenger. That is the only way the church of God can rise again. It is a pity that many are going to Church today to be taught or forced to keep to their churches doctrine. Why should you allow that when the founders plan was to use the doctrines to draw you closer to God. It is just like following the signboard instead of the message the owner presents. Don't loose focus. It is love of doctrines that makes us fight among ourselves, with other churches, etc. If you must follow Christ, follow Him without loosing focus. Embrace Christ to be saved.

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. By the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, i fire back every wicked arrow targeted to make me loose focus in life this year ... in Jesus name, Amen.

2. O God arise by your mercy and power, destroy every satanic stronghold standing on my way to breakthrough ...in Jesus name, Amen.

3. O God arise, empower me this week to empower others ...in Jesus name, Amen!

TODAY’S TOPIC: Lead by example 

Text: Ezekiel 34:2-11 (NIV):

"34:2. Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy and say to them: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Woe to the shepherds of Israel who only take care of themselves! Should not shepherds take care of the flock?

34:3. You eat the curds, clothe yourselves with the wool and slaughter the choice animals, but you do not take care of the flock.

34:4. You have not strengthened the weak or healed the sick or bound up the injured. You have not brought back the strays or searched for the lost. You have ruled them harshly and brutally.

34:5. So they were scattered because there was no shepherd, and when they were scattered they became food for all the wild animals.

34:6. My sheep wandered over all the mountains and on every high hill. They were scattered over the whole earth, and no one searched or looked for them.

34:7. 'Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD:

34:8. As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, because my flock lacks a shepherd and so has been plundered and has become food for all the wild animals, and because my shepherds did not search for my flock but cared for themselves rather than for my flock,

34:9. therefore, O shepherds, hear the word of the LORD:

34:10. This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am against the shepherds and will hold them accountable for my flock. I will remove them from tending the flock so that the shepherds can no longer feed themselves. I will rescue my flock from their mouths, and it will no longer be food for them.

34:11. "'For this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I myself will search for my sheep and look after them.

SHOWER (Reflection):

Leadership is an act of God. It is both art and craft mastered by God and gifted to His children. When God anoints you to lead, you will do exploit. But when you go contrary to those rules, He will equally take it away from you and hand it over to someone else. That is what God is reminding us today in the book of Ezekiel. Which leadership position are you holding today? Even your family are flock you are/should be leading. He says that if you fail to adhere to this, He will take away the responsibility from you and give another person. God added in subsequent verses not added today, that you will be left to be joblessness, hunger, starvation, etc. Be careful today!

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O you works of the fresh induced by the evil powers to frustrate me from leading the flocks well, i command you to die by fire ... in Jesus name, Amen.

2. O God arise by your mercy and favour today that i will be favoured by my family, fiends or strangers as i come in contact with them this week  ...in Jesus name, Amen.

3. O God, my greatest healer, heal my wound today-spiritually and physically⁶ ...in Jesus name, Amen!

TODAY’S TOPIC: Time to Shine 

Text: Zachariah 8:7-15 (NIV):

"8:7. This is what the LORD Almighty says: "I will save my people from the countries of the east and the west.

8:8. I will bring them back to live in Jerusalem; they will be my people, and I will be faithful and righteous to them as their God."

8:9. This is what the LORD Almighty says: "You who now hear these words spoken by the prophets who were there when the foundation was laid for the house of the LORD Almighty, let your hands be strong so that the temple may be built.

8:10. Before that time there were no wages for man or beast. No one could go about his business safely because of his enemy, for I had turned every man against his neighbor.

8:11. But now I will not deal with the remnant of this people as I did in the past," declares the LORD Almighty.

8:12. "The seed will grow well, the vine will yield its fruit, the ground will produce its crops, and the heavens will drop their dew. I will give all these things as an inheritance to the remnant of this people.

8:13. As you have been an object of cursing among the nations, O Judah and Israel, so will I save you, and you will be a blessing. Do not be afraid, but let your hands be strong."

8:14. This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Just as I had determined to bring disaster upon you and showed no pity when your fathers angered me," says the LORD Almighty,

8:15. "so now I have determined to do good again to Jerusalem and Judah. Do not be afraid.

SHOWER (Reflection):

As we walk to your church today, God's favour and miracle shall locate you in Jesus name, Amen. Do not afraid. Do not worry! Go you with sacrifices of praise and truth. The Lord has promised to dry our tears today. He says in our today's message that He would no longer be s hey with us as He previously did to our forefathers. As you have been object of cursing in the past, you won't experience same again. 

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God my father, I tap into Your kingdom promises to shine today whether the enemies like it or not ... in Jesus name, Amen.

2. As God liveth and His spirit is alive, let the Holy-Ghost fire burn to ashes anyone, principalities or powers that may confront me this new week ...in Jesus name, Amen.

3. As we walk into the month of February this, O God arise, and bring forth whatever that must bring my divinely ordained wife/husband close to me...in Jesus name, Amen!
