TODAY’S TOPIC: Be my ambassador 

Text: Ephesians 4:1-10 (NIV):


"4:1. As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.

4:2. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.4:3. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

4:4. There is one body and one Spirit--just as you were called to one hope when you were called--

4:5. one Lord, one faith, one baptism;

4:6. one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

4:7. But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.

4:8. This is why it says: "When he ascended on high, he led captives in his train and gave gifts to men."

4:9. (What does "he ascended" mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions?

4:10. He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.)"



SHOWER (Reflection):

Brethren, welcome to the last day of the month of December, and last day of the year 2022. We are grateful to God who made it possible. We are glad that we are seeing the last day but the last day will not see us in Jesus name, Amen. It has been eventful, uplifting and others throughout the year. We pray God to help us see more of this kind day in Jesus name, Amen. Today, this scriptural verse is reminding us of changes of attitudes, revival and restoration as we crossover to the year 2023. Christ wants us to remember to become or remain His ambassador as we enter next year. Do not disappoint Him. He will surely bless you richly. 



PRAYER/DECLARATIONS


1. O Jesus, thank You for this Year 2022. I am thanking you also for taking me to the year 2023 in Jesus name, Amen.


2. I am unstoppable because Christ Jesus has made me so. Therefore, I command you- devil that wants to stop me to be put to shame in Jesus name, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Keeping to your purpose in life 

Text: John 12:20-28 (NIV):


"12:20. Now there were some Greeks among those who went up to worship at the Feast.

12:21. They came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, with a request. "Sir," they said, "we would like to see Jesus."

12:22. Philip went to tell Andrew; Andrew and Philip in turn told Jesus.

12:23. Jesus replied, "The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.

12:24. I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.

12:25. The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.

12:26. Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.

12:27. "Now my heart is troubled, and what shall I say? 'Father, save me from this hour'? No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour.

12:28. Father, glorify your name!" Then a voice came from heaven, "I have glorified it, and will glorify it again."



SHOWER (Reflection):

This is teaching us to discover our purpose in life and keep to it. Do not allow the pressure or pleasure to take away your purpose in life. Do not allow the situations of life or whatever to constitute a clog in your wheel. Some of us are always victims of indecision in life. Come on! Become that man or woman God wants you to become. Turn deaf ears and blind to the world. And you will get to the appointed place. 



PRAYER/DECLARATIONS


1. O Jesus, help me to discover your purpose for me on earth, and to stand up for it forever in Jesus name, Amen.


2. O God arise, level the ground for total emancipation for me ahead of 2023 in Jesus name, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: If you suffer for the kingdom 

Text: 1 Peter 4:13-19 (NIV):


"4.3. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.

4:14. If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.

4:15. If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler.

4:16. However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.

4:17. For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?

4:18. And, "If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?"

4:19. So then, those who suffer according to God's will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good."



SHOWER (Reflection):

Brethren, do not get angry when you suffer for the kingdom. God has promised to reward those who suffered for the gospel richly at the end. What does suffering for kingdom entails? This includes doing the works of God amidst persecution. It also means investing in promoting the gospel, fasting and praying, etc. Get up now and start the movements to serve God.  



PRAYER/DECLARATIONS


1. O Jesus, empower and enlighten me to share in Your suffering and wear the crown at last. In Jesus name, Amen.


2. O God arise, bring down to me good tidings and all blessing meant for me this year, in Jesus name, Amen.


3. God of vengeance, arise and consume them by power and authority all those wishing me dead this year, Jesus name, Amen!!!

TODAY’S TOPIC: Save yourself 

Text: Matthew 3:1-9 (NIV):


"3:1. Those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the Desert of Judea

3:2. and saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near."

3:3. This is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah: "A voice of one calling in the desert, 'Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.'"

3:4. John's clothes were made of camel's hair, and he had a leather belt around his waist. His food was locusts and wild honey.

3:5. People went out to him from Jerusalem and all Judea and the whole region of the Jordan.

3:6. Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River.

3:7. But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to where he was baptizing, he said to them: "You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath?

3:8. Produce fruit in keeping with repentance.

3:9. And do not think you can say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father.' I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham."



SHOWER (Reflection):

Welcome, brethren. I trust you are enjoying the season and the reason for the season. We are been exposed to another reason to be careful in life. You don't need to live anyhow or behave anyhow because you are celebrating Christ's glorious birth. It is a call for Salvation and to express gratitude to God. Today's teaching is teaching us to understand that our presents cannot save us. No matter how much they love you, cherish, pray for you and do all kinds things for your survival. You must stand your ground to water the ground. The grace of your parents can fade any moment. But that which you built in Christ Jesus stands forever. Jesus will deal with you directly when you seek Him diligently. 



PRAYER/DECLARATIONS


1. O Jesus, I worship You. You are too good. I pray for strength and wisdom to serve You better in Jesus name, Amen.


2. O God arise, force my enemies into the pits they prepared for me this year so that cannot follow me to 2023. In Jesus name, Amen.


3. Every principality and power touring East, West, North and South to prevent my joy; I commit you in fire of hell in Jesus name, Amen!!!
