TODAY’S TOPIC: Why you must serve God with all you have?

Text: Jeremiah 18: 1-4, 6 (AMP Bible)

“The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord: “Arise and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will make you hear My words.” Then I went down to the potter’s house, and saw that he was working at the wheel. But the vessel that he was making from clay was spoiled by the potter’s hand; so he made it over, reworking it and making it into another pot that seemed good to him. “O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter does?” says the Lord. “Look carefully, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel."

*SHOWER:*

Today's scripture used stories of potters to remind us the wonderful power of God. A Potter can decide to unmake a pot already made by adding more features to it so that it will become bigger. Or by reducing the size to become smaller. A Potter can also beautiful or reshape an old pot, repackage it, change the colour or so. That is a typical example of what God can do in our life. Hence, the need for us to utilise the skills, knowledge and talents He gave us to serve Him diligently. When you refuse to honour Him with that gift, He can take it away from you and give it even to an older person, a younger person, less educated person or someone you least expected could possess the skills. It is also a sign that God can change you from whatever situation or level you found yourself now to another bigger, better or lesser situation. He did it to Nebuchadnezzar when he thought he was all and all on earth. You must submit yourself to Him so that He could take you higher. That is why He said in another passage that He can raise stones to worship Him if we humans refused to do that. Think twice and start using that He gave to you. 

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

O God I thank You for today's words. I have promise to abide by Your word. Help me to become a good vessel of honour and promotions in Jesus name, Amen. 

*1. I am a vessel of honour and promotions. There is nothing that can make me derail from the works of God.*

*2. I will continue to rise and grow in my faith.*

*3. I hereby decree and declare total submission in the things of God, total promotions and divine turn around in Jesus name, Amen.*

 _O God, I worship You this morning because Your mercy and Grace sustain me to this date. Please help me to know You more in Jesus name, Amen_ 

TODAY’S TOPIC: Your faith shall set you free

Text: Luke 5:20-25(AMP Bible)

“When Jesus saw their [active] faith [springing from confidence in Him], He said, “Man, your sins are forgiven.” The scribes and the Pharisees began to consider and question [the implications of what He had said], saying, “Who is this man who speaks blasphemies [by claiming the rights and prerogatives of God]? Who can forgive sins [that is, remove guilt, nullify sin’s penalty, and assign righteousness] except God alone?” But Jesus, knowing their [hostile] thoughts, answered them, “Why are you questioning [these things] in your hearts? Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? But, in order that you may know that the Son of Man (the Messiah) has authority and power on earth to forgive sins”—He said to the paralyzed man, “I say to you, get up, pick up your stretcher and go home.” He immediately stood up before them, picked up his stretcher, and went home glorifying and praising God."

*SHOWER:*

When Jesus was passing by and saw that the sick were waiting unto Him had faith, He prayed that their faith set them free. You can see how He commanded the sick to walk and go home. Not even the Pharisees could deter Him from doing the work of His father. Sometimes what we are passing through in life is because of not allowing Jesus into our life. You cannot claim to know Jesus when you have no faith. Some would have lost this opportunity because Christ had no Holy or anointed oil with Him there. Many would have expected Him to prayer for them first or even use anointed handkerchief to heal them. But reverse is that case- only His voice, Commands that heals. This happened because of faith. So, we need to back up our long time prayers with faith. God will surely reach us at our point of individual and collective needs. 

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

It's great to know that You're God that heals and sets people free at right time especially when their faith is in action. O convenant God, set me free so that I will be free to serve You better in Jesus name, Amen. 

*1. I have come before You, today, O God. May I find favour in Your eyes today. *

*2. Today is my day. I shall be set free, healed and inspired to serve You well, O God.*

*3. I hereby decree and declare total allegiance to God. Therefore, nothing on Earth can separate me from God's blessings and anointing in Jesus name, Amen.*

TODAY’S TOPIC: Courageously  preach the gospel 

Text: Galatians 2:14-18(AMP Bible)

“ But when I saw that they were not being straightforward about the truth of the gospel, I told Cephas (Peter) in front of everyone, “If you, being a Jew, live [as you have been living] like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how is it that you are [now virtually] forcing the Gentiles to live like Jews [if they want to eat with you]?” [I went on to say] “We are Jews by birth and not sinners from among the Gentiles; yet we know that a man is not justified [and placed in right standing with God] by works of the Law, but [only] through faith in [God’s beloved Son,] Christ Jesus. And even we [as Jews] have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the Law. By observing the Law no one will ever be justified [declared free of the guilt of sin and its penalty]. But if, while we seek to be justified in Christ [by faith], we ourselves are found to be sinners, does that make Christ an advocate or promoter of our sin? Certainly not! For if I [or anyone else should] rebuild [through word or by practice] what I once tore down [the belief that observing the Law is essential for salvation], I prove myself to be a transgressor."

*SHOWER:*

Courage is a costless virtue needed by anyone or group desirous of success. Every child of God must strive to live a legacy; a legacy of speaking truth always. We have polarised the gospel with familocrcy.  Paul was able to look into Peter's eyes and corrected him and other brethren on areas they are going down or drifting from the gospel. But in our today's churches, we praise our leaders and forget the messages. That is why things are not going well in the house of God as it was before now. Once there is courage, you cannot mismanage it. Once there is courage, you can get your leaders in the church and politicians behave well. It is easy and better than gossiping.

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

O God I honour You for another opportunity You gave me to live and study Your word today. I pray for Your Grace to live and maintain it in Jesus name, Amen. 

*1. The grace to preach the Gospel Courageously has taken over me.*

Text: Luke 4:31-37 (AMP Bible)

“Then He came down [from the hills of Nazareth] to Capernaum, a city of Galilee [on the shore of the sea], and He was teaching them on the Sabbath; and they were surprised [almost overwhelmed] at His teaching, because His message was [given] with authority and power and great ability. There was a man in the synagogue who was possessed by the spirit of an unclean demon; and he cried out with a loud and terrible voice, “Let us alone! What business do we have [in common] with each other, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!” But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be silent (muzzled, gagged) and come out of him!” And when the demon had thrown the man down among them, he came out of him without injuring him in any way. They were all astonished and in awe, and began saying to one another, “What is this message? For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits and they come out!” And the news about Him spread into every place in the surrounding district (Galilee)."

*SHOWER:*

What is that challenge are your facing? Turn to God in prayers and fasting. His words heals. His words casts demons! His words make things straight! In today's passage, demons trembles on spotting Him. If demons could say they know Him and beg Him to leave them "because we have nothing in common", what is still keeping you at one place? Why not decide now before is too late. He just gave a command and demon varnished, and the man was set free. Come to God now and get set free. 

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

God, I am here today. Please, set me free. I know who You are! You are all I have in Jesus name, Amen. 

*1. I have submitted myself before God. All my troubles must varnish away today.*

*2. O you demons troubling my life, family and job, get out. Holy Ghost has set everlasting fire on you.*

*3. I hereby decree and declare total freedom unto myself, my households and our works in Jesus name, Amen.*

 _O God, I bless Your Holy name. Open my eyes to see and believe You as I worship You today in Jesus name, Amen_ 

TODAY’S TOPIC: Gospel of men in God's House

Text: Galatians 1:6-10 (AMP Bible)

“I am astonished and extremely irritated that you are so quickly shifting your allegiance and deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different [even contrary] gospel; which is really not another [gospel]; but there are [obviously] some [people masquerading as teachers] who are disturbing and confusing you [with a misleading, counterfeit teaching] and want to distort the gospel of Christ [twisting it into something which it absolutely is not]. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to that which we [originally] preached to you, let him be condemned to destruction! As we have said before, so I now say again, if anyone is preaching to you a gospel different from that which you received [from us], let him be condemned to destruction! Am I now trying to win the favor and approval of men, or of God? Or am I seeking to please someone? If I were still trying to be popular with men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ.

*SHOWER:*

It's a pity that the Church of God seemed to be muptipling every day just as sins are equally multiplying. Every city, towns, streets and even households can now boost of Churches, Ministries, Christians and Ministers. There are also an increase in sins, atrocities and evil tendencies even in the house of God. Why is it so? Why are we degenerating too low like this? It's simply because we resorted to pleasing men rather than to please God. The Church has abandoned soul winning to wealth winning. People are calling themselves; lying that God calls them. Paul is lamenting over this in today's texts. He decries that men are preaching contrary gospels, counterfeit and conflicting teachings. Just to gather much members, people are bending the rules and the Gospel. Prosperity is good. But not when you twist the Gospel to uphold it. Think twice, ask yourself questions and retrace your footsteps before is too late. This is why our God calls us back in Isaiah 58:1-end to see the types of fasting and prayers He wants. 

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

Father, I thank You for today's teaching. Help me to be a doer of Your words. All this I pray in Jesus name, Amen!

*1. I was born to do the will of God who made me. I will not shake or derail from the true services of God and Gospel.*

*2. Therefore, I will no longer experience hard times when others are experiencing it or because others are experiencing it.*

*3. I hereby decree and declare myself and family free from every inherited problems, agony and temptations. The God's true teaching is making ways for me in  name I pray, Amen.*

TODAY’S TOPIC: Standing firm in difficult time

Text: Luke 4: 1-14 (AMP Bible)

“Now Jesus, full of [and in perfect communication with] the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness for forty days, being tempted by the devil. And He ate nothing during those days, and when they ended, He was hungry. Then the devil said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, command this stone to turn into bread.” Jesus replied to him, “It is written and forever remains written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone.’” Then he led Jesus up [to a high mountain] and displayed before Him all the kingdoms of the inhabited earth [and their magnificence] in the twinkling of an eye. And the devil said to Him, “I will give You all this realm and its glory [its power, its renown]; because it has been handed over to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. Therefore if You worship before me, it will all be Yours.” Jesus replied to him, “It is written and forever remains written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God and serve only Him.’” Then he led Jesus to Jerusalem and had Him stand on the pinnacle (highest point) of the temple, and said [mockingly] to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down from here; for it is written and forever remains written, ‘He will command His angels concerning You to guard and protect You,’ and, ‘they will lift You up on their hands, So that You do not strike Your foot against a stone.’” Jesus replied to him, “It is said [in Scripture], ‘you shall not tempt the Lord your God [to prove Himself to you].’” When the devil had finished every temptation, he [temporarily] left Him until a more opportune time. Then Jesus went back to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and the news about Him spread through the entire region."

*SHOWER:*

Child of God, don't always expect a bread and butter situation. There are periods you are going to be tempted. Temptations make us to know our stand in God, to plan for future and advance a greater course of faith. In today's scripture, Jesus Christ was tempted ahead of His ministry. One thing so remarkable about it is use of Bible quotations by both the tempter (devil) and the temptee or tempted (Jesus). So, you must study and meditate on His word day and night so as to be battle ready and easily win the war. Jesus, being focused and loaded by His word, didn't bother. He stood His ground on doing the will of His father. That was why he was able to conquer. Most of us often fail halfway. We must rise to conquer every opportunity, every situation and every time. The crown is ours!!!

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

Father God, I honour and adore Your word this day. Help me to put it into practice so that on the last day, I won't be found wanting in Jesus name, Amen!

*1. I am a conqueror because my God conquered temptations and death. *

*2. Therefore, I will overcome every situation, temptations and hard time.*

*3. I hereby decree and declare myself and family free from every inherited or self ignorant imposed sufferings, curses and poverty. In  Jesus name I pray, Amen.*
