Daily Shower is here for propagating the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Rain down, O heavens, from above. Let the clouds pour down righteousness[all the blessings of God]. Let the earth open up, let salvation bear fruit, And righteousness spring up with it; I, the Lord, have created it (Isaiah 45:8).

Time to sanitise the Church of God …

He found the people who were selling oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers sitting at their tables. He made a whip of cords, and drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen; and He scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables; then to those who sold the doves He said, “Take these things away! Stop making My Father’s house a place of commerce! John 2: 13-16

Be at alert

DAILY SHOWER July 9, 2022 Devotion and Declarations

Prayer before the Word:

_ O God, my King, my Your name be highly glorified for the gift of life. Forgive my trespasses. Please, shower me with Your unmerited favour. Show me Your way, and assist me to follow it to the end in Jesus  name, Amen_

TODAY’S TOPIC: Be at alert

Text: Luke 12: 35-45(NIV):

"12:35.  Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning,

12:36. like men waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him.

12:37. It will be good for those servants whose master finds them watching when he comes. I tell you the truth, he will dress himself to serve, will have them recline at the table and will come and wait on them.

12:38. It will be good for those servants whose master finds them ready, even if he comes in the second or third watch of the night.

12:39. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into.

12:40. You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him."

12:41. Peter asked, "Lord, are you telling this parable to us, or to everyone?"

12:42.  The Lord answered, "Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his servants to give them their food allowance at the proper time?

12:43.  It will be good for that servant whom the master finds doing so when he returns.

12:44.  I tell you the truth, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.

12:45.  But suppose the servant says to himself, 'My master is taking a long time in coming,' and he then begins to beat the menservants and maidservants and to eat and drink and get drunk."

SHOWER (Reflection):

The coming of our Lord Jesus Christ will surely be surprising. Today's scripture is trying to educate us on timelines, consistency and selflessness. As we wait for the coming of our Lord, do not be discouraged or fade up to an extent you start misbehaving. Treat all with love. If you don't do good, start doing good now. If you have been doing good, double your effort. Heaven at last.

May God's grace prove us right

DAILY SHOWER July 8, 2022 Devotion and Declarations

Prayer before the Word:

_ O God, my King, my Your name be highly glorified for the gift of life. Forgive my trespasses. Please, shower me with Your unmerited favour. Show me Your way, and assist me to follow it to the end in Jesus  name, Amen_

TODAY’S TOPIC: May God's grace prove us right

Text: Romans 5:12-21 (NIV):

"5:12.  Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned--

5:13 for before the law was given, sin was in the world. But sin is not taken into account when there is no law.

5:14 Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who was a pattern of the one to come.

5:15 But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God's grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!

5:16 Again, the gift of God is not like the result of the one man's sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification.

5:17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ.

5:18 Consequently, just as the result of one trespass was condemnation for all men, so also the result of one act of righteousness was justification that brings life for all men.

5:19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.

5:20 The law was added so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more,

5:21 so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

SHOWER (Reflection):

Bible says that sin came through one man, and from there, the whole world were condemned. And also, through Jesus Christ, we were all made well again. Hallelujah. The grace that come through the Christ sacrifice of death and resurrection, rekindled God's love upon us. We, therefore, have nothing to worry inasmuch we are in Christ Jesus. Let us click to Him and enjoy the life everlasting. But we must not use because of the grace to continue in sin.

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

O God, help me to implement what I have learn today in Jesus name, Amen.

*1. The Grace of God is sufficient unto me. I will continue to rise from glory to glory in Jesus name, Amen.

*2. God has taken over all that concerns me. I have nothing to worry but to go into the world and conquer in Jesus name, Amen.

Allow God to take over your worries

DAILY SHOWER July 7, 2022 Devotion and Declarations

Prayer before the Word:

_ O God, my King, cloth me with Your wisdom that I may know You more and prosper in Your kingdom call. In Jesus  name, Amen_

TODAY’S TOPIC: Allow God to take over your worries

Text: Luke 12:22-30 (NIV):

"12:22.  Then Jesus said to his disciples: "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear.

12:23.  Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes.

12:24.  Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds!

12:25.    Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?

12:26.  Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?

12:27.  "Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.

12:28.  If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith!

12:29.  And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it.

12:30.  For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them."

SHOWER (Reflection):

We worry a lot day and night for what we shall eat or drink, wear or where to sleep or travel to. Bible says we should worry less and allow Christ to supervise and super head all. And is true because our God promised to provide to us according to His riches in glory. If you don't know what will happen to you in the next second, why worry about what to wear in the next second. Lessons to be learnt from today's scripture are that God is dominion, man proposes but God disposes, we don't have power to decide for ourselves, God is ultimate, what is written is written, etc.

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

O God, help me to implement what I have learn today in Jesus name, Amen.

*1. I'm in God's hand. I believe and confidently wait for Him to provide all that concerns me in Jesus name, Amen.

*2. Since God provides to animals, flowers and others. I believe that nothing will stop Him from providing doubles of all I need in Jesus name, Amen.

*3. I hereby decree and declare that whatever that is due to me on earth today must surely locate me before the end of today in Jesus name, Amen.

Divine power at work

DAILY SHOWER July 6, 2022 Devotion and Declarations

Prayer before the Word:

_ O God, I submit before You today. Open my eyes to leave new values in Your word for spiritual and physical growth In Jesus name, Amen_

TODAY’S TOPIC: The Divine power

Text: Judges 15:10-20 (NIV):

"15:10.  The men of Judah asked, "Why have you come to fight us?" "We have come to take Samson prisoner," they answered, "to do to him as he did to us."

15:11.  Then three thousand men from Judah went down to the cave in the rock of Etam and said to Samson, "Don't you realize that the Philistines are rulers over us? What have you done to us?" He answered, "I merely did to them what they did to me."

15:12.  They said to him, "We've come to tie you up and hand you over to the Philistines." Samson said, "Swear to me that you won't kill me yourselves."

15:13.  "Agreed," they answered. "We will only tie you up and hand you over to them. We will not kill you." So they bound him with two new ropes and led him up from the rock.

15:14.  As he approached Lehi, the Philistines came toward him shouting. The Spirit of the LORD came upon him in power. The ropes on his arms became like charred flax, and the bindings dropped from his hands.

15:15.  Finding a fresh jawbone of a donkey, he grabbed it and struck down a thousand men.

15:16.  Then Samson said, "With a donkey's jawbone I have made donkeys of them. With a donkey's jawbone I have killed a thousand men."

15:17.  When he finished speaking, he threw away the jawbone; and the place was called Ramath Lehi.

15:18.  Because he was very thirsty, he cried out to the LORD, "You have given your servant this great victory. Must I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?"

15:19.  Then God opened up the hollow place in Lehi, and water came out of it. When Samson drank, his strength returned and he revived. So the spring was called En Hakkore, and it is still there in Lehi.15:20.  Samson led Israel for twenty years in the days of the Philistines."

SHOWER (Reflection):

When you have divine encounter, people and yourself will be amazed at what is happening. When people think they have captured you will be a time God will use you to do more things. Philippines taught they have conquered Samson because he had been tied. Unfortunately, God has already positioned him for exploit. And it worked out. Pray for His Divine power and grace upon you. You will become unbeatable!

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

Great God, that is what You're. I pray for Your Divine power and strength to do marvelous work in Jesus name, Amen.

*1. God position me and use me to strike down Your enemies in Jesus name, Amen.

*2. O God. Because am involved, everyone that troubles my household, my family or society shall be burnt to ashes in Jesus name, Amen.

*3. I hereby decree and declare that God will continue to reposition and uplift me as I go about doing good with faith in  Jesus name, Amen.

The faith that moves mountain

DAILY SHOWER July 5, 2022 Devotion and Declarations

Prayer before the Word:

_ O God, I'm committed to Your course. Please, help me to know You more and go higher in life and thereafter be worthy of Your glory in heaven. In Jesus name, Amen_

TODAY’S TOPIC: The faith that moves mountain

Text: Romans 4: 1-10 (NIV):

"4:1.  What then shall we say that Abraham, our forefather, discovered in this matter?

4:2.  If, in fact, Abraham was justified by works, he had something to boast about--but not before God.

4:3.  What does the Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness."

4:4.  Now when a man works, his wages are not credited to him as a gift, but as an obligation.

4:5.  However, to the man who does not work but trusts God who justifies the wicked, his faith is credited as righteousness.

4:6.  David says the same thing when he speaks of the blessedness of the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:

4:7.  "Blessed are they whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.

4:8.  Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him."

4:9.  Is this blessedness only for the circumcised, or also for the uncircumcised? We have been saying that Abraham's faith was credited to him as righteousness.

4:10.  Under what circumstances was it credited? Was it after he was circumcised, or before? It was not after, but before!"

SHOWER (Reflection):

Faith is assurance of things hoped for, evidence of things not seen. This entails hoping that you must gain or achieve this result or that. Bible also says that by faith we can move mountains. Do you believe it is possible? Yes. It is very possible. In fact, faith on its own is two edged sword. It works when well applied. For instance, if you want to buy something, you must go to market or stalls. Do you sit at home and expect the products to meet you at home because you have the money? No! So, that is why the faith that moves mountain is attributable to Abraham, Moses, David and others. It is faith that says do what you can and trust all to God. God will now look at your little efforts and decides to uplift you. Faith without action is dead. Cheers as you try it today.

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

O God, I thank You for enriching my knowledge and spiritual mind. Help me to be a faithful servant with action in Jesus name, Amen.

*1. Faith with action is what I need today. God will not allow me draw back in His service in Jesus name, Amen.

*2. I hereby declare that every sickness, lacks, and setbacks in my life and household must vanish before the end of today in Jesus name, Amen.

*3. I hereby decree and declare that God will continue to reposition and uplift me as I go about doing good with faith in  Jesus name, Amen.

Be not afraid

DAILY SHOWER July 4, 2022 Devotion and Declarations

Prayer before the Word:

_ O God, I have come before You this day. Open my eyes to see new things in Your word. Help me to implement them accordingly in Jesus name, Amen_

TODAY’S TOPIC: Be not afraid

Text: Joel 2:18-27 (NIV):

"2:18.  Then the LORD will be jealous for his land and take pity on his people.

2:19.  The LORD will reply to them: 'I am sending you grain, new wine and oil, enough to satisfy you fully; never again will I make you an object of scorn to the nations.

2:20.  'I will drive the northern army far from you, pushing it into a parched and barren land, with its front columns going into the eastern sea and those in the rear into the western sea. And its stench will go up; its smell will rise.' Surely he has done great things.

2:21.  Be not afraid, O land; be glad and rejoice. Surely the LORD has done great things.

2:22.  Be not afraid, O wild animals, for the open pastures are becoming green. The trees are bearing their fruit; the fig tree and the vine yield their riches.

2:23.  Be glad, O people of Zion, rejoice in the LORD your God, for he has given you the autumn rains in righteousness. He sends you abundant showers, both autumn and spring rains, as before.

2:24.  The threshing floors will be filled with grain; the vats will overflow with new wine and oil.

2:25.  'I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten--the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm--my great army that I sent among you.

2:26.  You will have plenty to eat, until you are full, and you will praise the name of the LORD your God, who has worked wonders for you; never again will my people be shamed.

2:27.  Then you will know that I am in Israel, that I am the LORD your God, and that there is no other; never again will my people be shamed."

SHOWER (Reflection):

God is telling us today not to be afraid or worried about anything because God has heard our prayers. He assured us new life, restoration of all we lost in the past, upliftment and greatness. He said he will drive out our enemies, and replenish us. All you need therefore is to be focused, contented and consistent. God is doing a new thing for us this week in Jesus name, Amen.

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

O God, I plead for Your mercy and guidance to follow You and actualise Your will in my life in Jesus name, Amen.

*1. God is making a way for me where there is nowhere. This week is my week of excellence in Jesus name, Amen.

*2. God has spoken in my life. Therefore, all I have lost I shall regain today and throughout this week in Jesus name, Amen.

*3. I hereby decree and declare that God will continue to reposition me for greater glory and emancipation in  Jesus name, Amen.

Light your world

DAILY SHOWER July 3, 2022 Devotion and Declarations

Prayer before the Word:

_ O God, open my eyes to understand Your word, and work according to Your will in Jesus name, Amen_

TODAY’S TOPIC: Light your world

Text: Luke 8:16-18 (NIV):

"8:16.  No one lights a lamp and hides it in a jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, he puts it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light.

8:17.  For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open.

8:18.  Therefore consider carefully how you listen. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken from him."

SHOWER (Reflection):

God has made you a light unto the world. There is nowhere to hide a light. Therefore, make sure you shine forth anywhere you're. As a light, you are meant to discover and uncover all the hidden truth. You must be careful how you do this in order not to run foul of the promises. Give to those who don't have. Use your resources well to better lives. That is how you will gain more and rise above every obstacles of life. But if you keep hiding or underutilizing what you have, God may take it away and send it to someone who will use it well for His kingdom.

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

O God, thanks for Your word that has come to set me free. I need Your strength to internalize and practicalise it in Jesus name, Amen.

*1. I'm the light of God. God has empowered me to provide way to others in Jesus name, Amen.

*2. I will not lose what I have. I will rather use them to better the lives of others and win souls for, Amen.

*3. I hereby decree and declare that God will continue to show me the way and I will not die but live to praise His name in Jesus name, Amen.
