Prayer before the Word: 

 _ Everlasting God I thank You this day for a new life. I pray for Your guidance and wisdom as I study Your word in Jesus name, Amen_ 

TODAY’S TOPIC: God of amazing Grace

Text: Acts 28:1-10 (NIV):

"28:1  Once safely on shore, we found out that the island was called Malta.

28:2  The islanders showed us unusual kindness. They built a fire and welcomed us all because it was raining and cold.

28:3  Paul gathered a pile of brushwood and, as he put it on the fire, a viper, driven out by the heat, fastened itself on his hand.

28:4  When the islanders saw the snake hanging from his hand, they said to each other, "This man must be a murderer; for though he escaped from the sea, Justice has not allowed him to live."

28:5  But Paul shook the snake off into the fire and suffered no ill effects.

28:6  The people expected him to swell up or suddenly fall dead, but after waiting a long time and seeing nothing unusual happen to him, they changed their minds and said he was a god.

28:7  There was an estate nearby that belonged to Publius, the chief official of the island. He welcomed us to his home and for three days entertained us hospitably.

28:8  His father was sick in bed, suffering from fever and dysentery. Paul went in to see him and, after prayer, placed his hands on him and healed him.

28:9  When this had happened, the rest of the sick on the island came and were cured.

28:10  They honored us in many ways and when we were ready to sail, they furnished us with the supplies we needed."

*SHOWER:*

God of amazing Grace will never allow His people to labour in vain or cry in pain. He knows our desires and wants, and will keep supplying them accordingly. You can see how Paul and other apostles successfully landed to shore. God who knew they would definitely need fire assembled one through Islanders. He used them to provide hospitality to His people. A miracle of pushing and killing a viper was followed immediately; then warm reception and healing... Isn't our God wonderful? If you believe, cheer up and present Your matter to Him. Then, embark on that journey, that evangelism, visits and so on. He will make way for you where there seemed to be noway. 

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

Wonderful miraculous God, I thank You. I pray You to allow Your word to dwell richly in me, empower me to do Your will in Jesus name, Amen.

*1. My God is in charge of all that concerns me. Therefore, my going and coming back today, works and walks shall be guided, inspired and blessed by Him alone. 

*2. By power in the precious blood of Jesus, I will not be disappointed by anyone or thing. God of Miracles will spring surprises for me. 

*3. I hereby decree and declare that people will surely be amazed at good things my God will do for me today in Jesus name, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Anointing from God

Text: 1 John 2:18-27 (NIV):

"2:18  Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour.

2:19 They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.

2:20  But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.

2:21  I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth.

2:22  Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist--he denies the Father and the Son.

2:23  No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

2:24  See that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.

2:25  And this is what he promised us--even eternal life.

2:26  I am writing these things to you about those who are trying to lead you astray.

2:27  As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit--just as it has taught you, remain in him."

*SHOWER:*

Surely the hour has come. You don't need anyone to tell you who is antichrist or not, as stated by today's scripture. Bible says by their fruits we shall know them. It says we shall know them by His (God's) anointing already in us. Anointing from God gives insight. It helps to distinguish between the good and the bad, the ugly and the pretty. The Anointing also helps one to remain in Jesus Christ. You cannot claim to know or worship Him when you run away from His works, fellowship of the brethren, charity and others. Get yourself in now. You won't regret it. 

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

O God, I thank You for today's teaching. Help me to implement it in my daily life in Jesus name, Amen.

*1. The anointing from God, fall upon me today. Distinguish me and empower me to do exploit in life. 

*2. By God's grace and infinite mercy, today shall be my day of recollections, connections and upliftment. As I move out today, those who forgot me, my destiny helpers, good old customers and course mates shall reconnect and favour me. 

*3. I hereby decree and declare that my days of barrenness is over. I must possess my possessions in Jesus name, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Be brave even when prosecuted

Text: Act 23:1-11 (NIV):

"23:1  Paul looked straight at the Sanhedrin and said, "My brothers, I have fulfilled my duty to God in all good conscience to this day.

23:2  At this the high priest Ananias ordered those standing near Paul to strike him on the mouth.

23:3  Then Paul said to him, "God will strike you, you whitewashed wall! You sit there to judge me according to the law, yet you yourself violate the law by commanding that I be struck!

23:4  Those who were standing near Paul said, "You dare to insult God's high priest?"

23:5  Paul replied, "Brothers, I did not realize that he was the high priest; for it is written: 'Do not speak evil about the ruler of your people.'

23:6  Then Paul, knowing that some of them were Sadducees and the others Pharisees, called out in the Sanhedrin, "My brothers, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee. I stand on trial because of my hope in the resurrection of the dead.

23:7  When he said this, a dispute broke out between the Pharisees and the Sadducees, and the assembly was divided.

23:8  (The Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, and that there are neither angels nor spirits, but the Pharisees acknowledge them all.)

23:9  There was a great uproar, and some of the teachers of the law who were Pharisees stood up and argued vigorously. "We find nothing wrong with this man," they said. "What if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him?"

23:10  The dispute became so violent that the commander was afraid Paul would be torn to pieces by them. He ordered the troops to go down and take him away from them by force and bring him into the barracks.

23:11  The following night the Lord stood near Paul and said, "Take courage! As you have testified about me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome."

*SHOWER:*

I trust you wakeup in sound health today. We are been confronted with a teaching that reminds us who we are in Christ. Brother Paul was confronted with many temptations or should I say prosecution after his conversion. But he never relented. And God was saving him in all. This Penticost week in the Christian calendar, we must ask for Holy Ghost to fill us with power and courage from above to witness and testify the God's goodness always. Go on to conquer. Have a nice day. 

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

O God, I thank You for today's teaching. Help me to implement it in my daily life in Jesus name, Amen.

*1. June 2022 is my month to witness and testify the goodness of Christ Jesus. Hence, my life and family must be loaded with His mercy, grace and blessing to witness Him.

*2. June shall offer me sound health, connections and contacts. People must see me and praise God due to His wonderful works in my life and family.

*3. I hereby decree and declare that whatever God has not planted in my life and family must be rooted out. Whatever does not glory God must give way for our Lord Jesus to shine in my life, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Truthful sanctification

Text: John 17:10-19 (NIV):

"17:10  All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them.

17:11 I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name--the name you gave me--so that they may be one as we are one.

17:12 While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled.

17:13 "I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them.

17:14 I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world.

17:15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.

17:16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it.

17:17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.

17:18 As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world.

17:19 For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified."

*SHOWER:*

Welcome to the sixth month of the year 2022. All glory be to God for making it possible for us to see this day and month. Considering today's topic, God is consecrating us to execute various tasks for Him this month. Our Lord Jesus Christ is sending us into the world to preach the gospel as He's sent by God. God will sanctify us by truth so that we can actively and effectively. Remain bless.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Just be patience

Text: Acts 2 Peter: 2- 10 (NIV):

"3:2 I want you to recall the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets and the command given by our Lord and Savior through your apostles.

3:3 First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.

3:4 They will say, "Where is this 'coming' he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation."

3:5 But they deliberately forget that long ago by God's word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water.

3:6 By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed.

3:7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

3:8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.

3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare."

*SHOWER:*

Few points to take from today's scripture are; the second coming of Jesus is at hand, no one knows the date or time. So, get prepared always. Again, God will always fulfill His promises to us even if it looks slow. The so-called slowness may be to test to see if we can keep it when it comes or to make it perfect. Therefore, keep on hoping unto Him. Do not be discouraged.

O Jesus, I thank You for Your word that enriched me today. I pray for Your inspiration to make it work in my life in Jesus name, Amen.

*1. I am standing on the rock of God. No man, time or circumstances will make me loose focus. 

*2. Therefore, I have waited for my God. And I know that He will fulfill all His promises to me today.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Have you received the Holy Spirit?

Text: Acts 19:1-10 (NIV):

"19:1  While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul took the road through the interior and arrived at Ephesus. There he found some disciples

19:2  and asked them, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?" They answered, "No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit."

19:3  So Paul asked, "Then what baptism did you receive?" "John's baptism," they replied.

19:4  Paul said, "John's baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus."

19:5  On hearing this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.

19:6  When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.

19:7  There were about twelve men in all.19:8  Paul entered the synagogue and spoke boldly there for three months, arguing persuasively about the kingdom of God.

19:9  But some of them became obstinate; they refused to believe and publicly maligned the Way. So Paul left them. He took the disciples with him and had discussions daily in the lecture hall of Tyrannus.

19:10 This went on for two years, so that all the Jews and Greeks who lived in the province of Asia heard the word of the Lord."

*SHOWER:*

Have you received the Holy Spirit? Today's teaching shows that when Apostle Paul met with the people of Ephesus and discovered they were yet to receive the gift of Holy Spirit, he did something. What are you doing around you to propagate the gospel of Christ? There are people who need baptism, finances and others. Help out now to reach out to people.

O Jesus, help me to become a doer of Your word in Jesus name, Amen.

*1. I will propagate the words of God all the days of my life . No evil shall manifest over me.

2:3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.

2:4 Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.

2:5 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:

2:6 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,

2:7 but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.

2:8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death--even death on a cross!2:9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,
