Prayer before the Word: 

 _ O God, I thank You for yet another day. I magnify Your name because You are my God and all I have. Please, use me according to Your will and prosper me in Jesus name, Amen_ 

TODAY’S TOPIC: Be guided by Wisdom 

Text: Proverb 8:10-19 (NIV):

"8:10. Choose my instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than choice gold,

8:11. for wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her.

8:12. "I, wisdom, dwell together with prudence; I possess knowledge and discretion.

8:13. To fear the LORD is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech.

8:14. Counsel and sound judgment are mine; I have understanding and power.

8:15. By me kings reign and rulers make laws that are just;

8:16. by me princes govern, and all nobles who rule on earth.

8:17. I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me.

8:18. With me are riches and honor, enduring wealth and prosperity.

8:19. My fruit is better than fine gold; what I yield surpasses choice silver."

SHOWER (Reflection):

Be guided by wisdom this season. Do not endanger your life because of hard time or bad economy. God is wisdom and gives it accordingly to those who request for it. Once you allowed yourself to be guided by wisdom, you will know how to manage the meagre resources at your disposal, where to go at every material time, how to manage the little time you have and so on. That little money you have can also help invest in business opportunities abound in your area. Just look well and you will identify opportunities to go higher in Jesus name.

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. By the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, I shall surmount my problems and challenges of life, in Jesus name, Amen.

2. O God my father, bless the works of my hand today and shame the devil, in Jesus name...Amen.

3. O God arise and open my doors of opportunities this season so that when others cry of bad economy, I shall shout the God is great, in Jesus name, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Evidence of good living

Text: Galatians 5:22-26 (NIV):

5:22. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

5:23. gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

5:24. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires.

5:25. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.

5:26. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other." 

SHOWER (Reflection):

Welcome to the month of June, 2023. As we step into this month, may the joy of God envelope and lead us all through in Jesus name, Amen. June is the 6th month of the year and stands for joy. It is good time to access yourself for the year, review your activities for the past five months and see if you are still working accordingly or needs to change for good or bad. There is need for addition or improvements in all we do. This month presents us with such opportunity. It is a thing of joy we are starting the month with the fruit of the Spirit or evidence of accepting Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and saviour. Anyone who finds Jesus finds love. And must therefore bear this fruits listed here. Search within you to know if you run contrary to this gifts and make an amend. Today is still a better day to make a right choice.  

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, my father, I thank You for a new month, new day and mid week. Jesus, I surrender my life to You, make me healthy and able to survive this month, in Jesus name, Amen.

2. By the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, I destroy every stumbling block to my spiritual, physical and financial emancipation this month, in Jesus name...Amen.

3. By the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, I shall not borrow or bury this month ... in Jesus name, Amen.

4. O God arise, let the expectations of the righteous and Your plans over me come to fruition this month of June, in Jesus name, Amen.

5. O God my father, give me fresh ideas, wisdom and knowledge I need to excel this month and beyond so that I can dominate and multiply as You instructed me in Your word, in Jesus name, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Dependent children 

Text: Psalm 104:19-28 (NIV):

104:19. The moon marks off the seasons, and the sun knows when to go down.

104:20. You bring darkness, it becomes night, and all the beasts of the forest prowl.

104:21. The lions roar for their prey and seek their food from God.

104:22. The sun rises, and they steal away; they return and lie down in their dens.

104:23. Then man goes out to his work, to his labor until evening.

104:24. How many are your works, O LORD! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures.

104:25. There is the sea, vast and spacious, teeming with creatures beyond number--living things both large and small.

104:26. There the ships go to and fro, and the leviathan, which you formed to frolic there.

104:27. These all look to you to give them their food at the proper time.

104:28. When you give it to them, they gather it up; when you open your hand, they are satisfied with good things. 

SHOWER (Reflection):

We are like human body before God. All parts of the body; from head to toes could claim to be independent of each other. But when something happens to one, all others cry or suffer the pains too. Children of God, we are creatures before God. He who created us, can live alone but we cannot stay on our own without Him. Verse 27 of today's reading said we are all look up to Him to give us food at the proper time. No matter the condition or life situation you find yourself, try to glorify Him, try to be satisfied and stand strong in your faith. We thank Him forever!!!

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, my father, push me forward that I can be discovered for excellence  ...in Jesus name, Amen.

2. O God arise, let all the devilish or evil agenda the enemy has set against me, vanish and remain destroyed today, in Jesus name...Amen.

3. By the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, nothing will stop me from crossing over to the month of June with laughter ... in Jesus name, Amen.

Obey not to win favour

TODAY’S TOPIC: Obey not to win favour 

Text: Galatians 6:1-10 (NIV):

6:1. "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

6:2. "Honor your father and mother"--which is the first commandment with a promise--

6:3. "that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth."

6:4. Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.

6:5. Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ.

6:6. Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but like slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart.

6:7. Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men,

6:8. because you know that the Lord will reward everyone for whatever good he does, whether he is slave or free.

6:9. And masters, treat your slaves in the same way. Do not threaten them, since you know that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no favoritism with him.

6:10. Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power."

SHOWER (Reflection):

It is very unfortunate that many of us only respect or obey people when we need favour from them. Many parents also treat their wards well just because they expected presents from them in future not because they want them to live a healthy life or love God. Today's teaching want us to embrace good life not matter. Do not show respect, treat kind, threaten or so because of one favour or the other you want. We must be strong in the lord and serve God with all our hearts, our minds, what we have and what we can do. 

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, my father, I surrender all I have to You. Lift me up and pulldown Your enemy  ...in Jesus name, Amen.

2. O God arise, manifest Your power in my life before the end of May, in Jesus name...Amen.

3. By the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, I shall possess my possessions this week... in Jesus name, Amen.

Bear good fruits

TODAY’S TOPIC: Produce good fruits 

Text: Matthew 3:4-10 (NIV):

"3:4. John's clothes were made of camel's hair, and he had a leather belt around his waist. His food was locusts and wild honey.

3:5. People went out to him from Jerusalem and all Judea and the whole region of the Jordan.

3:6. Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River.

3:7. But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to where he was baptizing, he said to them: "You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath?

3:8. Produce fruit in keeping with repentance.

3:9. And do not think you can say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father.' I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham.

3:10. The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire."

SHOWER (Reflection):

When a tree produces good fruits, the owner shields it from cutting, trimming or so. The owner will take care of it manure , protect it from animals and other things that can harm or destroy it. But when a tree does not beer fruits, it will be cut down and replaced with new. This same scenario applies in the Church of God or Christendom. Anyone who must serve God must do this in truth and honesty, allowing their character and life to show. Do not be showing your goodness only in a church or neighborhood. Let your 'yes' be 'yes' and 'no' be 'no' any everywhere. May God help us to preach His word by living a good life in Jesus name, Amen.

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. By the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, I declare and decree this week as my week of supernatural lifting ...in Jesus name, Amen.

2. O God arise, burn to ashes every man or woman saying over their dead body for me to succeed or live, in Jesus name...Amen.

3. Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I submit myself to Your able hand this week, lead and prosper me beyond the world expectations... in Jesus name, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Now you're dead to sin

Text: Galatians 5:17-26 (NIV):

5:17. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want.

5:18. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.

5:19. The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;

5:20. idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions

5:21. and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

5:22. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

5:23. gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

5:24. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires.

5:25. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.

SHOWER (Reflection):

Now you are dead to sin is simple way of saying now you have accepted Jesus as your personal lord and saviour. You must endeavour to run away from all forms of sins. Live or allow the spirit of God to dwell richly and control you. You will never lack or suffer a shame in Jesus name, Amen. Go on enjoying your triumphant victory!!! 

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, my father, make me to run away from sinful nature as I serve You today...in Jesus name, Amen.

2. O God of pentecost, change my story for good and I shall become a good asset in Your vineyard, in Jesus name...Amen.

3. By the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, every of my closed door must open by fire this week... in Jesus name, Amen.
