Rain down, O heavens, from above. Let the clouds pour down righteousness[all the blessings of God]. Let the earth open up, let salvation bear fruit, And righteousness spring up with it; I, the Lord, have created it (Isaiah 45:8).

He found the people who were selling oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers sitting at their tables. He made a whip of cords, and drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen; and He scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables; then to those who sold the doves He said, “Take these things away! Will you lay your life for Jesus?

DAILY SHOWER April 9, 2022 Devotion and Declarations

Prayer before the Word:

_O God, I worship You for making me to dwell among the living today. Help me to keep leaning and following You in Jesus name, Amen_

TODAY’S TOPIC: Will you lay your life for Jesus?

Text: John 13:31-38 (NIV Bible)

"13:31 When he was gone, Jesus said, "Now is the Son of Man glorified and God is glorified in him.

13:32 If God is glorified in him, God will glorify the Son in himself, and will glorify him at once.

13:33 My children, I will be with you only a little longer. You will look for me, and just as I told the Jews, so I tell you now: Where I am going, you cannot come.

13:34 A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.

13:35 By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

13:36 Simon Peter asked him, "Lord, where are you going?" Jesus replied, "Where I am going, you cannot follow now, but you will follow later."

13:37 Peter asked, "Lord, why can't I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you."

13:38 Then Jesus answered, "Will you really lay down your life for me? I tell you the truth, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times!"

*SHOWER:*

'Will you really lay your life for me,' Jesus asked Peter when he boasted that he will follow Him. This question came up when Jesus was to be sold and killed for our sins. The question is still pertinent to date. Some had while in trouble and tribulations promised to do this or that for God. Unfortunately, once they realised what they want they run. Jesus in saying this also gave us another important task. I think He preferred this to others we claimed to be doing for Him. That is; to love one another just as He had loved us! This is because if you love one another as He had loved you, you won't fight, engage in frivolities, take immoral acts, steals and other unethical and societal vices.

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

O God, thanks for teaching me to love one another just as You loved me. I pray for Your grace to keep to this and others in Jesus name, Amen!

*1. God of direction build a wall of divine love around me. I will never fail to shine the light you set in me.*

*2. I shall not die but live to glorify God. My business and career must show that God is truly in me.*

*3. I hereby decree and declare that God will always perfect everything that concerns me in Jesus name, Amen.*

The Grace of God

DAILY SHOWER April 8, 2022 Devotion and Declarations

Prayer before the Word:

_O God, I thank You for a bright new day. Open my spiritual eyes and mind to know You and serve You alone in Jesus name, Amen_

TODAY’S TOPIC: The Grace of God

Text: Hebrews 12:14-17 (NIV Bible)

"12:14 Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.

12:15 See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.

12:16 See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son.

12:17 Afterward, as you know, when he wanted to inherit this blessing, he was rejected. He could bring about no change of mind, though he sought the blessing with tears."

*SHOWER:*

Grace of God makes every imperfect thing to becomes perfect. Today's scripture is telling us to ensure that God's grace is upon us. And that this is possible if we endeavour to live in peace with all, and keep ourselves holy. To live in peace with all men and women entails been born-again (John 3:3) which also implies living a holy life.

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

O God, I thank You for feeding me with Your word. Let's Your grace help me to keep the word alive and locate my destiny helpers in Jesus name, Amen!

*1. By His Grace, I will live my life in such a way that I must not miss heaven.*

*2. All my divine and earthly inheritance shall not be taken away from me either by mistake or sinfulness.*

*3. I hereby decree and declare that I'm overcomer. By His I have overcomed all problems and temptations. All the blessings due for me today must come to me in Jesus name, Amen.*

Service to humanity is service to God

DAILY SHOWER April 7, 2022 Devotion and Declarations

Prayer before the Word:

_O Lord, in You I trust. Draw me closer and open my eyes that I may know and worship You alone in Jesus name, Amen_

TODAY’S TOPIC: Service to humanity is service to God

Text: John 13:12-17  (NIV Bible)

"13:12 When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. "Do you understand what I have done for you?" he asked them.

13:13 "You call me 'Teacher' and 'Lord,' and rightly so, for that is what I am.

13:14 Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet.

13:15 I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.

13:16 I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him.

13:17 Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.

*SHOWER:*

Our Lord Jesus in His character to show the light, decided to wash His disciples feet. At end, He said in verse 15 that it was an example He was using Himself to set before them. The lesson to that service were enormous. He wanted us to know that been a Christian is a call to serve one another and not showmanship as we currently have or see among the new generations Christians, pastors, General Overseers and others. If you can't serve the whole people that appointed you or people you want to know God, how would you want them to identify or believe that your God is in existence. You need to show that by your service, behaviour and life style. It is also a call for humility. People no longer care about service and humility. We all want to be served. Once you get an opportunity, you will like others to see serve you rather to serve those who gave the opportunity. That is why the whole world is messing up. We must retrace our footsteps now!

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

O God, I thank You for showing me the light by Your behaviour and blessings. I'm sorry for always deviating from the faith. Please, help me to return and remain focused in Jesus name, Amen!

*1. By His Grace, I will forever remain focused in services of God so that by doing this I will not only win souls for Him but also become a heaven candidate.*

*2. With God, all that concerns me have been taken care of. I will no longer suffer or struggle for anything because His favour awaits me.*

*3. I hereby decree and declare that I will gain all that my God destined for me today, this month and forever in Jesus name, Amen.*

Keep asking; do not be discouraged.

DAILY SHOWER April 6, 2022 Devotion and Declarations

Prayer before the Word:

_O God, I bow before Your throne of mercy; forgive my sins, open my eyes that I may know and follow You alone in Jesus name, Amen_

TODAY’S TOPIC: Keep asking; do not be discouraged.

Text: Luke 18:1-8 (NIV Bible)

"18:1 Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.

18:2 He said: "In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men.

18:3 And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, 'Grant me justice against my adversary.'

18:4 "For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, 'Even though I don't fear God or care about men,

18:5 yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won't eventually wear me out with her coming!'"

18:6 And the Lord said, "Listen to what the unjust judge says.

18:7 And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?

18:8 I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?"

*SHOWER:*

How many times have you requested for something from God? Did you get instant answers to your prayers or requests from God? Jesus is telling us not to be discouraged or get tired of asking. A little child that's desirous of a gift or food from the parent (s) will keep crying until he/she gets the gift item. So, why easily gets discouraged when the answers to your prayers seemed to be delayed? Pray consistently with faith. God will surely grant your heart desires in Jesus name, Amen!

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

O God, I thank You for feeding me this morning. I pray for Your divine powers and inspiration to keep on praying till I get answers to my prayers in Jesus name, Amen!

*1. My God is wonderful. He has increased my faith so that I won't ask amiss or faithlessly.*

*2. My God has uplifted me. The world distractions around me will never make me to stop asking diligently from God.

*3. I hereby decree and declare that I will not lack again. I shall be bless in the morning, afternoon and night throughout this month of April in Jesus name, Amen.*

My fresh and my life

DAILY SHOWER April 5, 2022 Devotion and Declarations

Prayer before the Word:

_O God, I reverence Your name for making me to be living among the living today. Open my eyes so that I will see and learn new things about You in Jesus name, Amen_

TODAY’S TOPIC: My fresh and my life

Text: John 12: 25-32 (NIV Bible)

"12:25 The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.

12:26 Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.

12:27 "Now my heart is troubled, and what shall I say? 'Father, save me from this hour'? No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour.

12:28 Father, glorify your name!" Then a voice came from heaven, "I have glorified it, and will glorify it again."

12:29 The crowd that was there and heard it said it had thundered; others said an angel had spoken to him.

12:30 Jesus said, "This voice was for your benefit, not mine.

12:31 Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out.

12:32 But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself."

*SHOWER:*

Our Lord Jesus when the time came for His crucification on the cross cried in verse 27 that his heart was troubled. This could be because of the sins of the world despite the facts that He had done various miracles, preaching and others to get us pay attention to God's will. It could also be because of His fresh. Just imagine how a true Son of God allowed Himself to pass through the pains; slapped, beaten, had his belle pierced with sword, mocked and at last nailed! What will you do if you're the one? The spirit is willing but fresh is also willing to counter such. But a voice from Heaven assured Him to go ahead. We have at various point in time faced with this type of challenges, indecisions and crisis. How have you encountered or/and overcome this type of situation in your life? There had been a time you prepared for fasting, doing one work or another for Christ, going to work, etc. only for a voice to come and order you to ceasefire even when another voice (which could be of God) is insisting that you should go ahead as He is with you. Some had by listening to the good voice, triumphed or escaped tribulations, accidents, gun attacks, been robbed and others.  In this situation, it takes discerning spirit to find out which is real or fake and what to do. Our fresh is configured in a way that it attacks our spirit easily mostly when we have urgent spiritual work to do. Come to think of it; if Christ had listened to the voice of His fresh to back out. What would have happened to the world? The way forward is to ask for God's wisdom and direction at all times. It is He alone who can assist us to take right decisions at all time.

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

O God, I thank You for Your words of exaltation. You have reminded me what I had forgotten. Please wash and renew me with excellent discerning spirit that I may know You and walk according to Your dictations in Jesus name, Amen!

*1. My God has empowered me with excellent discerning spirit. I cannot fear but stand firm in my faith.*

*2. I stand by the power of God to do exploit. Therefore, today will better than tomorrow in all that concerns me.*

*3. I hereby decree and declare that all my debtors and those whom God have destined to favour me must remember me, and become restless until they locate me and favour me in Jesus name, Amen.*

Faith is a basic foundation of a Christian

DAILY SHOWER April 4, 2022 Devotion and Declarations

Prayer before the Word:

_O God, the giver of knowledge and wisdom, inspire my words and actions as I study Your word in Jesus name, Amen_

TODAY’S TOPIC: Faith is basic foundation of a Christian

Text: Hebrews 11:1-6 (NIV Bible)

"11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

11:2 This is what the ancients were commended for.

11:3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

11:4 By faith Abel offered God a better sacrifice than Cain did. By faith he was commended as a righteous man, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith he still speaks, even though he is dead.

11:5 By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death; he could not be found, because God had taken him away. For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God.

11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

*SHOWER:*

By verse 6 of today's scripture, faith is seen as something that supersedes every other virtues a Christian must possess. And I ask myself, why? The reason is that God is not a human you can see with a natural eyes. It's by faith we accept that He exists, was creator of the universe and still determines what we do day and night. If you don't have faith there is nowhere you can gain anything from God. Let your faith be reactivated now!!!

*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*

O God, I thank You for making it possible for me to see today. Please help revive my dying faith and empower me to do Your will in Jesus name, Amen!

*1. My God is faithful God. He has challenged me to become faithful to Him and from there, win souls for His kingdom.*

*2. By His faith, all that concerns me must be perfect because He is perfect and I had prayed for perfection through His grace.*

*3. I hereby decree and declare that this month of April will continue to favour me and my family in Jesus name, Amen.*

"66:1 Shout with joy to God, all the earth!66:2 Sing the glory of his name; make his praise glorious!

66:3 Say to God, "How awesome are your deeds! So great is your power that your enemies cringe before you.

66:4 All the earth bows down to you; they sing praise to you, they sing praise to your name."

66:5 Come and see what God has done, how awesome his works in man's behalf!66:6 He turned the sea into dry land, they passed through the waters on foot--come, let us rejoice in him.

66:7 He rules forever by his power, his eyes watch the nations--let not the rebellious rise up against him.
