Prayer before the Word:

TODAY’S TOPIC: Offer your body as living sacrifice
Text: Romans 12:1-10 (NIV):

12:1. Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship.
12:2. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.
12:3. For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you.
12:4. Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function,
12:5. so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others."

SHOWER (Reflection):
We are charged to offer our body as living sacrifice because it is temple of God. We are created in God's own image and likeness. Therefore, we must not conform to the things or pattern of the world. Again, today's teaching is reminding us the needs to love one another, appreciate others gifts and allow them to manifest their God's gifts as we manifest ours. Don't see your own as the best or only perfect gift. A preacher cannot preach when there are no congregation, prayer warrior is to be complemented by a singer or preacher, Viz . May God help us to understand this and carry others along when we perform the works of God and wherever we are in Jesus name, Amen.

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O you spirit of pride on assignment to pull me down, be scattered by the fire in the name of Jesus, Amen.

2. O God arise, disgrace and set on fire, evil foundation in my father's house so that I will be totally free from their bondage, in  Jesus name, Amen.

3. By the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, I recover all I have lost in the past in Jesus name, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Service to Humanity 

Text: 1 Peter 4:7-11(NIV):

"4:7.The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray.

4:8. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.

4:9. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.

4:10. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms.

4:11. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen."

SHOWER (Reflection):

If one must serve God diligently, he must serve the people around him. Don't wait to be served. Be the one to offer the services to all whenever the need arises. If you can't do this, how then can you serve God you don't see? Again, you can only serve well when you are self controlled, you are able to restrain yourself where possible, assert control when needed, and so on. Speak when there is need and like child of God. That is what today's teaching is teaching us about. Once again, be a good listener, speak like God because we are His representatives, offer a better services and you will not only be saved but help to save others.  

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O God, I am willing to serve You in truth and honesty. Help me to be submissive by serving others to raise souls for Your kingdom, in Jesus name, Amen.

2. By the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, I am leaving my house this morning to return with joy of open doors and best opportunities in Jesus name, Amen.

3. O God arise, pull down everyone demonic strongholds attacking my breakthrough in Jesus name, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Living above family challenges 

Text: Matthew 10: 32-39 (NIV):

"10:32. "Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven.

10:33. But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven.

10:34. "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.

10:35. For I have come to turn "'a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law--

10:36. a man's enemies will be the members of his own household.'

10:37. "Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me;

10:38. and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.

10:39. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it."

SHOWER (Reflection):

You must be ready to confront challenges from home, if must worship God. They are made to build your spirit mind and position you for works ahead. It is when you are doing good or insisting for the right things to be done that your family may become your war zone. Live above it by holding unto truth and pursuing it till the end.

1. O God, my father, remember me now for good as You go about redeeming souls and uplifting the downcast in Jesus name, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Visitations by God of difficult hours
Text: Luke 5:1-10 (NIV):

5:1. One day as Jesus was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret, with the people crowding around him and listening to the word of God,
5:2. he saw at the water's edge two boats, left there by the fishermen, who were washing their nets.
5:3. He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little from shore. Then he sat down and taught the people from the boat.
5:4. When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, "Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch."
5:5. Simon answered, "Master, we've worked hard all night and haven't caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets."
5:6. When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break.
5:7. So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.
5:8. When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus' knees and said, "Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!"
5:9. For he and all his companions were astonished at the catch of fish they had taken,
5:10. and so were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, Simon's partners. Then Jesus said to Simon, "Don't be afraid; from now on you will catch men."

SHOWER (Reflection):
Do not be surprised or run away when things seemed not to be moving smoothly. It could be God o'clock...the time God wants to visit you with blessings no one can count. Here disciples were tired and probably thinking of what to tell their family members after a toil without fish. Jesus intervened and they caught unimaginable! This kind of story happened to Joseph when he was only busy interpreting the dream he had and solutions, God made him a governor. Such a thing can still happen to you if only you can tarry faithfully. Today, God will surprise you with your dream job or contact, in Jesus name, Amen.

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. O Jesus, give me the grace and wisdom to hold on until when my destined promotions will arrive in Jesus name, Amen.

2. By the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, I overcome the challenges of life in Jesus name, Amen.

3. That an idea I need to rule the world, fall upon my life as predestined by God, in Jesus name, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Set your goals  

Text: 1 Peter 1:7-16 (NIV): 

"1:7. These have come so that your faith--of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire--may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

1:8. Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,

1:9. for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

1:10. Concerning this salvation, the prophets, who spoke of the grace that was to come to you, searched intently and with the greatest care,

1:11. trying to find out the time and circumstances to which the Spirit of Christ in them was pointing when he predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow.

1:12. It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you, when they spoke of the things that have now been told you by those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Even angels long to look into these things.

1:13. Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed.

1:14. As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance.

1:15. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do;

1:16 for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy."

SHOWER (Reflection):

 In everything you or go, always set your goals. A goal is a target, objective, missing and vision, template or blueprint which guides as steps to actualise and strain greater heights. Bible says we should adhere to this in our daily, family and personal lives. Whoever sets heaven as a target, will endeavor to be Holy and live holy lives all through. That is what today's teaching is telling us. We will be rewarded abundantly when we do this in Jesus name, Amen.

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. I have set my goals in Jesus that I will serve Him only and work for Him alone to wear the crown in Jesus name, Amen.

2. O God, my father, as I am stepping out today, let Your everlasting favour and grace follow me Jesus name, Amen.

3. O God arise, dismantle and raise to dust every hard nut or rock preventing me from marching forward  in Jesus name, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Searching for greatness 

Text: Proverb 2:1-10 (NIV): 

"2:1. My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you,

2:2 turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding,

2:3 and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding,

2:4. and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure,

2:5. then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God.

2:6. For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.

2:7. He holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless,

2:8. for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.

2:9. Then you will understand what is right and just and fair--every good path.

2:10. For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul."

SHOWER (Reflection):

 Wisdom is very expensive. But if you desire it and generously search for it, God will give it to you. It will make your way right, prosperous and healthy. Do not hesitate to request for anything good from God. He will not deny you of them so far you are ready to use same to serve Him in truth and honesty. Go you to the world this week and make things better to others because God has destined you to succeed. 

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. By the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, this is my week for divine restoration and favour in Jesus name, Amen.

2. O God, my father, because You live, I will never beg for anything good before it must come to me because You give freely to those who seek You in Jesus name, Amen.

3. O God arise, poison the enemies that want to poison my divine helpers so they won't be alive to stop my moving forward in Jesus name, Amen.

TODAY’S TOPIC: Light that recreates our world

Text: 2 Corinthians 4:5-15 (NIV): 

"4:5. For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake.

4:6. For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

4:7. But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.

4:8. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair;

4:9. persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.

4:10. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.

4:11. For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake, so that his life may be revealed in our mortal body.

4:12. So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.

4:13. It is written: "I believed; therefore I have spoken." With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak,

4:14. because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you in his presence.

4:15. All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God."

SHOWER (Reflection):

Jesus is the most Lord. He is the light. Every light gives life, removes terrorism, fear, disfavour and failure. Do not bother about the world and terrible happenings around. Once you are in Christ, you become a new creature, image and powerful. Seek Him now. He will do greater things in your life this week...in Jesus name, Amen. 

PRAYER/DECLARATIONS

1. By the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, I will receive great favours from both people I know and those I don't know in Jesus name, Amen.

2. O God, my father, remember Your word concerning my family, and let all the evil powers digging a pit against me fall into the pits and die in Jesus name, Amen.

3. O God arise, multiply the afflictions of the enemy to glorify your name, in Jesus name, Amen.
