Prayer before the Word:
_O Lord, the giver of life, I thank You for yet another day. May Your name be praised for the opportunity You gave me and my family members to behold a new day. Open my spiritual eyes to study and follow the dictates of your Word in Jesus name, Amen_ .
*TODAY’S THEME: Day not to be Disappointed*
TEXT: Romans 10:8-11:
"[8]But what does it say? The Word (God's message in Christ) is near you, on your lips and in your heart; that is, the Word (the message, the basis and object) of faith which we preach.
[9]Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
[10]For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] salvation.
[11]The Scripture says, No man who believes in Him [who adheres to, relies on, and trusts in Him] will [ever] be put to shame or be disappointed."

Friends, welcome to another day to keep fit in Christ Jesus. I trust you're up for something great this year. By now you should be thinking how to go about realising your dreams and visions for the year. Some might have even started implementing them. Kudos! A stitch in time is said to save nine. This is the right time to start the journey of a thousand miles. You will surely reaslise and surpass your dreams this Year if only you remain faithful; build your faith around Him with all righteousness. Our today's Scriptural texts are reminding us the needs to submit or resubmit ourselves to Christ Jesus. We must start the year with Him. And remain with Him all through the year. In verse 11, He reassured us that no one who believes, trusts or relies on Him would be disappointed this Year. So, do well confess Him in your works, where you work, your neighborhood, etc. Cheers!
*PRAYER/DECLARATIONS*
Father, I thank You for reminding me the needs to start and stick to You throughout the year. Please, help and build your wall of righteousness and faith around me, my family, business and ministries in Jesus name I pray, Amen.
*1. I hereby decree that my life is in Christ Jesus who has destined me to succeed!*
*2. I have accepted to work with Him, for Him and according to His word. Therefore, today, disappointment and failure will never be my portion.
*3. I trust in God with my heart. My business, works, education, family and all that concerned me are hereby committed into the hands of Christ Jesus.*
*4. God has ruled out anything, personality or spirit that will ever think or stand my way to achieving my destiny, purpose on Earth, aims or objectives.*
*5. All these and more goodies I claim in Jesus name, Amen!*
