Lord is our refuge

DAILY SHOWER May 20, 2023 Devotion and Declarations

Prayer before the Word:

_ O God, I thank You for yet another day. I magnify Your name because You are my God and all I have. Please, use me according to Your will and prosper me in Jesus name, Amen_

TODAY’S TOPIC: Lord is our refuge

Text: Psalm 91:1-10 (NIV):

"91:1. He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

91:2. I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."

91:3. Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence.

91:4. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

91:5. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,

91:6. nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.

91:7. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.

91:8. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.

91:9. If you make the Most High your dwelling--even the LORD, who is my refuge--

91:10. then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent."

SHOWER (Reflection):

Brethren, welcome to last day of the week. God who saw us through the week will cross and see us through the next week in Jesus name, Amen. Fear not as God is our refuge. Keep committed unto His works and righteousness, God will keep shielding and provide for us abundantly. All you lost at the beginning the week, shall be recovered before the close of works today. And we shall get into the week in sound health, sound mind, opportunities and ideas that we will use to rule our world in Jesus name, Amen.
